You have to be cautious about advertising as you get an instant ban for advertising. The bars with the foreign football channels available would pick up Sport TV I think.

    S.C Braga:recent history

braga wont be any pushovers home or away read this

The remarkable rise of SC Braga in a league monopolised by a big three has been a refreshing development in Portuguese football.
The northern club’s ability to consistently rub shoulders with Portugal’s elite has a logical next step – to continue to punch above their weight, but now on a European scale.
Claiming the notable scalp of Celtic in the Champions League would be a good start.
Only twice in almost a century of history has the Portuguese league championship been won by a club other than Benfica, FC Porto or Sporting Lisbon, a statistic that brings Braga’s achievements of last season into true perspective.
The Arsenalistas were in contention for a sensational title triumph right up until the final weekend last season, before falling just short behind the best Benfica team in two decades.
Just two points dropped at home and three defeats all season allowed Braga to amass 71 points, a total that would have comfortably been enough to make them champions in any of the previous four years, since the Portuguese top flight was cut to a 16-team league.
The staying power of Braga’s title challenge, which included thrilling victories at their stunning Estádio de AXA home against the big three, is all the more laudable given the club is forced to sell its top players year on year.
What is their secret? It is unsurprising to hear the words “hard work” and “humility” feature heavily in the thoughts of flying winger Matheus as he looks forward to the clash with Celtic on Wednesday.
As is commonplace in Portugal, Braga’s squad has a sizeable sprinkling of Brazilians.
Should Celtic’s rearguard take their eye off the ball for a second, the formidable trio of Brazilian forwards, Matheus, Alan and Lima will be ready to make them pay. Not that Matheus is expecting any favours.
“We are aware that they will not be an easy opponent, but they will also be thinking the same thing about us,” said the skilful and pacy winger, who contributed with seven goals last season.
“Now we’re going to work hard, wait for the day of the match, play a great game and who knows, perhaps make progress.
“We’re working with humility towards the goal of getting to the next round. It’s not going to be easy, but with the work we are putting in and the quality of our squad we are doing everything to do justice to our seeded status.”
Matheus admitted that playing the first leg at home is not ideal, but believes that a positive result in Braga could prove the key to making progress.
He said: “We have to get a good result here so that we are more comfortable in the game in Scotland.
“We have to stand up to our opponents and make sure we do well on Wednesday, so that we can complete the job in the second game.”
Of course, any amount of hard work will only get you so far. Braga displayed real quality throughout their team last season, and inevitably a number of their most accomplished performers have been lured away by more lucrative contracts and more fashionable clubs around Europe.
Portugal goalkeeper Eduardo, who enjoyed such an impressive World Cup, marauding full-backs Evandro and João Pereira and midfield playmaker Luis Aguiar are no longer at the club.
But Braga’s regular incursions into the knockout stages of European competition and recurrent top-four finishes in the league have made the club attractive to players in Portugal who have been unable to attract the interest of the big three.
Such a revolving door policy has its drawbacks. Braga’s journey of recent years has not been without the odd mishap.
The team slumped to an embarrassing early departure from the Europa League in 2009/10, losing both legs of the qualifying round to Swedish outfit Elfsborg.
The chastening defeat was put down to poor preparation, a mistake Matheus says the club has learned from.
He said: “This year the coach decided to start pre-season earlier which is better for the players. We’re all in good shape.”

I agree that this team shouldn't be under estimated, however it would appear that they have lost a few key players and their pre-season form has left a lot to be desired. I'm hoping that the 3rd string keeper they have in will get tested tonight...

Hearts have consistently beat Celtic and Rangers while they dominated Scottish fOOtball. One day Hearts managed to split the OF. Do you think whoever drew Hearts thought the same as some on here? Nope.

Celtic should beat this team. Portuguese league isn't much better than our own other than they have 3 teams fighting for the title.

If Celtic are hammered tonight then I will be very worried about the future.

    SC Braga = Hearts
