I don't know if someone said it before, but today Braga lost 2-0 on a friendly match against Varzim from the portuguese second league...(even if they had 2 players from the 1st team on the bench...)

 

im liking that!

Braga lost 2-0 to Varzin today.... another 2 bad mistakes at the back...

Looks like we couldhave a 5-5 draw at this rate.... Neither team seems over confident with their defence....

For those of you coming to Braga.. enjoy the game and meet up for a few pints before and after as usual.... There's a special party being organised as its Braga's first every champions league... to play against such a huge club couldnt be better.... I think its even stevens.. neither set of supporters know what to expect which makes it much better than we might see a decent game of football...

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Mario Felgueiras is likely to face Celtic only a month after being axed by Braga. The Portuguese outfit have been hit by a keeper crisis and have recalled the 23-year-old on a two-week contract.

Under-pressure boss Domingos Pacienca sold No 1 Eduardo to Serie A giants Genoa for £3.5million after his superb displays in the World Cup Finals last month. Braga brought in veteran Quim from Benfica to replace Eduardo, but he is now out for six months after sustaining a foot injury.

That left Pacienca with Brazilians Artur Moreas and Marcos, but Braga were hit with another problem when Moreas was sidelined through injury. Marcos, 34, hasn’t played first-team football for a full season after being snubbed at Brazilian outfit Parana.

Pacienca, whose only other back-up is untried 20-year-old Diego Silva, has had to persuade Felgueiras to sign a fortnight’s contract to answer an SOS.

The keeper’s new club, Rio Ave, have agreed to the temporary switch ahead of the Champions League qualifier.
