haha I had no idea he played for us right up to 2004, cnt remember much of him past ajax nd 6-2 game.

happy enough with the draw and being away first helps. we should be beating teams like braga but would like to c us add a good quality striker before this game but think we will go throught to the next round

Hopefully we can get our targets in next week at the latest so they can at least train together before this game.

 

Just had a look at Bragas euro record last year. The mightly Elfsborg put them out of the europa league at the 3rd qualifying round stage 4-1 on aggregate.
They've also sold there Goalkeeper Eduardo to Genoa. Remember him Boavista goalkeeper semi-final uefa cup 2003 and the Portugal keeper Euro 2004 saved penaltys with no gloves on.
So there left struggling to find a goalkeeper for the new season.

 

Not to bad a draw but if we don't sign a good striker and have to go with ras and maf we will struggle to beat Braga never mind the round after this

Wouldn't say we're struggling Zaluska will do a job until we find a good enuf replacement for Boruc. Reading the Braga forums there supporters seem to be worrying a lot more than we are.

I won't mind not having a new goalkeeping in place for the CL qualifiers.

dont underestimate them lads! remember they finished 2nd in their league.

 

Thats because we have. It does not matter who you draw in these qualifiers they will be tough games. But we can def win and that is the good thing about it all.

Come get behind the team and that includes all the players even Murphy if he signs.

Just on there from and there saying that celtic have the best fans in the world because they sing until he final whistle and drink and party in the streets and not at one stage get violent and i respect them for saying that im proud to be a celtic fan, people know all over the world about our fans:icon_mrgreen: and they also said they have been on a celtic form and saying that we are underestimating them.
