Well said mate, James was rank at the world cup as was heskey. Would rather go for Shay Given any day. he's no longer 1st choice at City so perhaps loan deal would be possible???

    A waste of wages IMO.
A decent keeper I agree but I don't think it's something we're crying out for. Especially for the amount of money he would want

If the defence gets sorted and we get a goal scorer I'll be relatively happy

I think he would be a good signing still fit and i think his experience wud help zaluska and cervi as well as being a good keeper, also wudnt have to pay anything for him

Age doesnt matter for a keeper if he's still playing well, which Jamesy is. Still a good keeper and an experienced head. If Zaluska is as good as everyone is making out he'll beat James to the number one spot and we'll lose James after a short contract, no problemo. Not gonna happen though as far as goalkeeper rumours this is a belter, get him signed

Dream on mate Big Shay is rated in the top 3 goalies in the Epl. Man City would never let him go, and he still is first choice there, Hart is pushing.

I would take him. Hes got a good personality about him that would help the moral of the squad I think (didnt do much for englands moral but who could lol) He could still do a job and of couse hes made a few blunders he has been playing in the premiership for about 100 yrs.

id take him... he was good in premiership. and lets be fair the quality of strikers in the spl are nothing compared to torres, keane, rooney etc. so i reckon he would do a decent job for a season, and aslong as he doesnt command massive wages, then sign him up..

hopefully he can find his best form for us in champions league tho..

39 maybe but defo get another season out him at least.. If u've been keeping an eye on James the past few seasons he's not made as many stupid mistakes. Saves us money for spending on more important positions thats a huge plus for me......... zaluska good no.2 thats all and james is far better keeper without doubt
