I think we will get a striker alright. Perhaps Stokes or Hooper ? I also think either Samaras or Fortune will go.

Pretty much my thoughts too, especially the parts highlighted but I do think that this will be remedied in time for the SPL k.o. Doubt it will be for the CL qualifiers

    Agree.

IMO we need another lb, a first team CB to partner up with Hooiveld, another goalkeeper to give Zaluska competition, and at least one proved striker.

We still need the spine of the team sorted. Gk, CB, striker. The 3 we have signed seem decent, duno much about Mexican but will obviously keep open mind.

I reckon though if we get the 3 I said we will defo win the league. Maybe couple of players to challenge squad but no point buying for the sake of it.

ledley is a decent signing, the rest are pretty poor, unless we make some quality signings ie and good goalkeeper, a good CB and a goal scorer (not some gary hooper or stokes) then the title is going back to mordor

Agree with this, plus as the Hand says a good imaginative CMer, although I'm still optimistic about Crosas - he has the vision & ability & can play some killer balls...maybe in a 5 man midfield he could be the playmaker?

Not too sure if we'll see another 5 signing though (not including Suarez)...but they are sure as * needed.

Haven't seen to much of these players but does ledley play left of a 3 or 4 man mid?
The team could look like this
    Zaluska
    Hinkel/cha Hoiveld Rogne Mulgrew
    Juarez
    Ledley. Brown

    Ki/Crosas
    Fortune. New striker

Like a 4-3-1-2 or a 4-1-3-2 or a 4-3-3 depending on however you want to look into tactics.

Cha - Okay in world cup but i think it will take him a long time to fit into our league.
Mulgrew - Average doesnt look like a first team starter imo hope am wrong.
Ledley- Great signing need more of this signing but hes got a big shock to him to see what its like to play for celtic :icon_mrgreen:

I dont think fortune and rassmusen will suffice up front we need a proven, quality striker like a bellamy or a keane...

I'm happy with what Lenny is doing in the transfer market so far, agree that we badly need new strikers and IMO a new goalkeeper

I wouldn't actually class that as a huge priority seeing as Ledley is first choice left winger now.

Competition on right is Maloney, McGinn and McCourt so there is quality still here. Plus there's an argument that Scott Brown could be vying for the right-mid spot since Ki is improving and Juraez may be first choice CM.

I still think we need a Goalkeeper,a Left Back,a Centre Half,a Creative Central Midfielder and 2 NEW Strikers.I would sell Samaras and Fortune,if we can get a buyer for them.Although I suspect Neil Lennon Will play 'Fortune' as a main striker this season. Will judge the New Signings over how they play for Celtic F.C. because only then can you judge them a GOOD or BAD signing.Hail! Hail!

Really excuited about Juarez if we get him, Ledley is cracking too, not seen Cha yet so will have a look about.

I agree with one of the above that we can wait for a keeper, if we really need one get for backup as Zaluska is more than capable IMO.

Is anybody else getting slightly concerned at the number of players we're being linked with who are either pushing 30 or on the wrong side of 30?

I don't mind having one or two senior players in the team but I don't want 4 or 5 players in the team who are 30+.
