I would have Zaluska has no.1 and bring in another keeper as back up.

    Zaluska no.1 and Cervi no.2..done.
By all means bring in a third-choice keeper.

Saying Zaluska is * or crap is wrong..He was more than an ample deputy for Boruc and had some good displays. Cervi hasn't played for Celtic competatively yet but he is very highly rated and no doubt he will be challenging Zaluska.

I feel we should be searching for the next boruc at the moment, give Zaluksa a couple of years , he's good enough for the SPL and trying to find another real (quite young) talent on the cheap. (i know thats hard but it must be possible.)

True. I remember he had an absolute blinder against us for Sunderland in the friendly at CP in 2002.

Celtic need to find a 2nd or 3rd choice keeper.

Zaluska proved in all competitions last season that he is more than just capable of standing in for Boruc. If you check the match threads from last season, you'll not see one complaint about Zaluska's performances, so I dont understand why people are saying that he isnt good enough now. I've not seen Cervi play and he's untested in the SPL so Celtic have a decision to make.

Lennon is in his 1st season and if I was him I'd go with buying an experienced no.2. He played with dodgy keepers before, I'm sure he doesnt want to watch a good team performance * over by a keeper thats having problems/out of their depth.

Zaluska is a good 2nd choice goalkeeper, he'll come in, make the simple saves and not do much wrong, what seperates a good 2nd choice and a Number 1 is the ability to make game changing contributions.
Zaluska at best is decent, the game that comes easiest is the embarassment against St Mirren, he should have saved 3 of the goals that night, I've saw him letting in average goals on a number of occasions and this is why he should never be Celtics Number 1 ...... IMO

So you're saying that Zaluska shouldn't be Celtic's no.1 based on one game when the whole team morale was at it's lowest ebb? what are these other average goals that he has let in? It is easy for people to focus on things that go wrong with Goalkeepers, * even world-class goalies have some howlers. Try focusing on the positives of Zaluskas game. How do you know Zaluska's best is decent? How do you know you've seen his best? Where you in touch with Paul the octopus:icon_mrgreen:

    Rankin v Celtic

He had plenty of those moments that season and last season but yet Zaluska isnt good enough to replace him. Since the collapse of his marriage, he has been erratic on and off the field.

Just before he signed, he said that he was going to shut out rangers in the final game of the season, and that we would win the league so that he could play champions league football. Kris Boyd scored in 2nd minute, and Rangers won 3-0.

He was a Disgrace to the gloves at Love Street. Diving over the ball, and getting beaten at the near post. To lose 1 goal to St. Mirren is acceptable, but 4 in a match is not Celtic Class.

He might be good enough at Dundee Utd when he his busier, and shots are flying in and he is kept on his toes, but at Parkhead, when you can be quiet for an hour then be called into action is hard on a keeper. Just ask Rab Douglas

It is an opinion. I answered a question that someone put out there. Just because you dont agree with it, must mean that i'm wrong and you are right????????????????
