    As much as I wish we got more money for him, we still made a profit (I think) on him and have freed up approximately 15-25k per week in wages. We have Zaluska who is more than capable of being our No.1 too.

    I didn't think I could love another keeper after packy bonner......then boruc came along and changed everything.

    At his best he was easily in the top 3 goalkeepers in the world, at his worst he was a bombscare waiting to happen.

    The reactions will be over the top because he is a cult hero here but in terms of football, which should be our main concern considering we have been second best now for 2 seasons, it is the right decision.

    He has been gradually getting worse rather than better. I actually think his blase attitude to his physical fitness was a bit disrespectful to the 60,000 people who cheer for him every second weekend tbh.

    All that being said, good luck to him. Easily the best Celtic keeper of all time so far.

    How do you know we didn't?

    At the meetings with Lawwell and Lennon the gaffer have clearly said he rated the big guy. But there have been indications that he wanted to move on, and then the time to let go is now.

    I can't image Celtic wanted to get rid of him against his will.

    Been in talks for a new deal for months.

    Maybe he wants a change so he's got chance of makin the Poland euros squad?

    I've nothin bad to say about him, could have moaned for a move plenty of times when a.c and arsenal etc were interested.
