I totally don't feel like this at all. Not even in the slightest, tiny bit. I feel like folk who feel like this are the same people who call the SS when they're mate's are working and getting bru money. Instead of giving corporate seats to * who don't support the club or don't even bother turning up, give local schools FREE tickets. You know the corporate * I speak of? The ones in the heated seats who don't stand up when we score? Yes, those twats.

im not for a minute suggesting that. all i am saying is that the people who do sneak in does disrespect the ones who bought a ticket imo

Fair enough kieran mate, I just wanted to point that out generally (not to you in particular). Some people assume that it's only people who don't have jobs who are on the breadline.....unfortunately some people who have worked all there lives have very little to fork out on luxuries.:50:

so fans that paid for a season ticket up front should be out of £500 whilst those who never bought tickets should get in for free just because they don't want/can't afford to pay for tickets. How do you decipher between people who paid and those just being allowed in for free. You can't just 'let' people into the ground just because its empty - i know i wouldn't be happy that some wouldn't need to pay considering i had shelled out a substantial sum of money for tickets

yes but football isn't a necessity - its a luxury and therefore people shouldn't just get in for free whilst others have to pay

I am not advocating people should get in for free mate.....What I am saying is that back in the day it cost me absolutely nothing to go to a game when I was a kid.....Got on the Celtic supporters bus for free most home games, and got lifted over the turnstyle by any of the members who hadn't their own kids with them to lift over...and the supporters bus back home....Technically speaking we were robbing the club, and I am sure If some of the board members here were around back then they would have us strung up and dangling from the lamposts along London Road if they had caught us as a warning to others. :87:

I like to think that this great bit of bonding between the younger supporters and the older guys learned us a lot about what being a Celtic fan was about...You know...Never Walk Alone....Cetic Family...etc..etc..Us kids grew up to be the paying fans of the future....faithful through and through.

The board could do worse than allow kids in for free....the kids are the future.:shamrock:

yeah but your twisting my words - i merely made the argument that it would be unfair to ask people to fork out £500 at the start and then just to let people in for free because there are empty seats

you make good points mate:50: i understand that, traditionally, many people got in for free and it was how it worked even if i am too young to have done the same thing myself. Free tickets for kids and, dare i say it, armed forces are incentives i have seen from other clubs which aren't the worst ideas in the world. As you said they are the future of our club and i think u-8's should be allowed in for free with an * ticket. I have to admit though that, whilst not free, £50 is a very good deal imo - £2.63 per match whereas one concession ticket is normally £15

Nah mate. Nothing to do wi you personally, just modern football in general and the way it is stopping genuine working class supporters being involved is frustrating. From the price of football boots and replica shirts to the price of tickets the whole thing is shocking but apologies if it looked like I was having a go at you personally:50:
