    You can only get them in waitrose as they have an exclusive deal with them just now.

    They are brewed in accordance with the German purity law of 1516 and the only uk brewery to have been awarded a gold medal by deutsche landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft.

    So it says on the label haha maybe a German member can fill is in more about this?

    There is a west brewery pub near Glasgow green I'm sure.

    Orval is my favourite at the moment.

    It's lighter than a lot of the other good Belgian beers, but it has a lovely clean caramel taste that I love.

    Plus it seems to taste a bit different every time I drink it - hallmark of quality. :50:

    For the guys trying Hoegaarden, throw a slice of lemon into it. It compliments the taste perfectly and even enhances it.

    Similar to Blue Moon, which is best served with a slice of Orange*

    *True, BTW. No pun (or should that be hun?) intended.....

    A few months ago i was in aldi picked up this bavaria stuff from holland it was a pilsner never had pilsner before and it was fukin lovely 99 p for a 600 ml bottle . Now i want to try other pilsners but dont know any. And it were could i buy them live in helensburgh/dumbarton .

    drank for of these the other night and i was half burst. a bit on the heavy side but still a good beer

    tried this for the first time as well, i'd never heard of a porter but it was definitely nice. similar to guiness but a nicer taste imo.
