Craig Beattie loved the big guy scored every time he was fit the only was he wasn't fit often. He had a great goal to game ratio if you look back. I saw him live up in seattle in a friendly against chelsea and he ran wild on them. i remember murinho being very impressed by him.

the annoying thing about JJ was he was a centre mid and WGS always pld him up front.

i dont feel he was given a fair chance to prove himself with us

Eyal Berkovic. He was a moody little * that only played well when he could be bothered. He will never be remembered very fondly by the Celtic support but if he had a better attitude he could have been a excellent player for Celtic because he was a quality player with loads of skill.

Probably Zurawski, fantastic bloke and a real good player

Although I feal real sorry for Sno, Donati and Jarosik, A real talented group but just never clicked in the SPL

Robson - A match winner, a match changer, a match maker - fantastic player and as previously stated cannot understand why we let him go, he would have been a legened i genuinly believe it

Jarosik was class when given the opportunity.
Going further back, Enrico Annoni, never understood why he didn't play more often for us, one of the few defenders in the SPL that could mark Laudrup out of the game.

I met him in the Trongate and he was a complete *, hid behind his pal and refused to talk to us, even though we all had Celtic scarves on, was before the 0-0 CL game with Milan. :38:

Thought he was a big-game hider as well, only scored against pish, save for 1 goal at Ibrox.

The three times I met him at Parkhead he was alright with me, I called out to him the first souple of times in Polish though :p

Some times I feel players are not very public people, he struck me as a really shy guy tbph.

As for the big-game hider I knda agree, but I think looking at his track record it is fair to say he just didnt make the breakthrough I think the Celtic fans wanted. Although undoubtably I feel he could have

One thing is for certain, wearing the green and white hoops is as much a privaledge and an honour as it is a risk. Some players can make it here and some who font never get seen again. Very few fail here and go on to succeed, that is a fact

    Donati, Sno, Gravesen, Sylla.

    John Kennedy :54:

the big man should be the Celtic and Scotland captain right now and be sitting on at least 300 appearances

A few years back he was heading down to Prestwick for a flight home. At the same time 2 U19 boys were heading back to Ireland so they shared the taxi.

Zurawski was earning at least 10k a week I'd imagine the 2 boys were on couple of hundred quid at most. Taxi got to Prestwick n he just jumped out n let the boys pay for it.

Willie McStay went ballistic at him when he got back.

    Complete *!!!

All down to personal experience of meeting players I guess mate.

He was rank rotten in big games, the kinda guy that would be great if we played Dunfermline every week.

Any tight game or situation we needed someone to really step up to the plate he disappeared and was usually subbed.

He was badly exposed for the average striker he was in the Champions League.
