Greatest ever Celtic goal?

Since 1888 there has been some amazing, spectacular and downright brilliant goals scored by men in the green and white hoops.......... but which one is the best?

Its a tough question because both significance and the nature of the goal need to be taken into account...........

My top Five in my list are

1. Nakamura's free kick at home to Man U, CL last 16 put Celtic back amoungst the Worlds elite

2. Lamberts screamer against Rangers, the earliest goal I can remember and undoubtably one of the best gave belief in ending the 10 in a row, and thank ghod it did

3. Larsson's lob over Kloss in the home old firm match, one of those 'I was there moments', a simply beautiful goal

4. Hartson's goal against Liverpool at Anfield, a great goal granted, but one of the best because we had proved twice that a Scottish team could match the 'might' of the EPL :icon_mrgreen:

5. Larsson's second header against Porto, despite being defeated in the end, the undoubtable class of that man in was shown again, and from an almost impossible angle he simply glanced the ball into the net for the second time! a real honor of a goal to watch, and a fitting goal as although we lost more people (not just Celtic fans) remember Henrik's goal than qoute 'the other ones' that happened in the final. OK porto won, but Henke cam out on top

Note, I havent put down any of the Lisbon lions goals because I want alive at the time unfortuneatly, not even near and because of this I wanted to put down goals I can truely remember. But I reckon the Lisbon goals that have most definitely shaped our clubs historty will therefore be amoungst the top 2 or 3 goals at the end of this wee experiment

Bearing in mind these are the ones that i can clearly remember

 

Goal Mo Johnston scored against St Mirren in 5 nil win at Love Street to win the league on last day of season. Pretty sure it was 1986.

Too young to remember it at time but seen clips of it since and it's class.
McGrain and McClair involved in build up. Unbelievable team goal rather than an individual one. Given the quality of it and the circumstances it was scored, it has to be right up there.

Tis' one good goal, I feel so young .......... well before my time, not often you hear that kinda phrase that way around I would would expect

 

1. Larsson's chip over Klos
2. Naka's screamer against McGreggor
3. Larsson's goal against st. johnstone back in 98'
4. Pierre van Hooijdonk's header against Airdrie in 96' to win the 1st trophy in 6 years
5. Mark Burchill striking accross the keeper to score the 5th in the 5-1 v the huns. this sticks in my mind more because thats when I realised how unstable the park head stadium is, it was close to crumbling!

all for importance of goals as well as the finishes

 

Alan thompson V rangers was amazing, so sweet, nobody expected it, turned out to be the winner aswell !

4. Any Larsson goal
5. Any goal against Rangers
