No way, can only remember him having 1 superb game, that was the Moscow game return leg at start of the season. Since then has been poor, what does he offer us lads/lasses?

    Positives

Works hard, gives 100%, good at breaking opposition moves down

    Negatives

Cant pass over 10 yards, no strength, (something a DM must have imo, how can you support your back 4 when you cant even win a ball in the air or muscle someone off the ball?) worst strike of a football I have seen in a while, offers nothing going forward, loses the battles in the air everytime, passing is very suspect at times and loses possesion of the ball too much, cant take any set pieces, pathetic goal ratio and overall very lightweight.

We can do much better than him, we could bring in Ledley who would be a much much better option.

N'Guemo played well at times , I think he was in Africa during our January collapse but there's not been one central midfielder that delivers on a regular basis so Im not fussed if there's a complete clear out and start again.. I'd like to see a 6 footer in there with a playmaker as long as the 6 footer is someone who can use the ball well and battle for the ball well , not just a McCulloch type hatchet man..

Couldnt disagree more with you -OC- lol
You said he does fine making simple passes id like to think so but even at that theyre always sideways.
You said he doesnt get knocked of the ball often , half the time he gets the ball spends to long thinking about were to pass it next then whilst hes doddling about the opposition comes up and barges him of it and were left vulnerable again.
His positional sense is just as bad as brown imo , plus browns not a DMF like nguemo hes more of a box to box midfielder so hes gona get caught out of postion alot more anyway, nguemos a DMF hes got his pocket in the centre of midfield to look after and to often for me he lets players run straight past him, although i do agree it doesnt help when his teamates arent helping out defensively as much as they should, and btw IM NOT blaming just nguemo and brown for our CBs mistakes but they do have to take some responsibility.
And hes not proven qaulity imo hes poor. His only strength is he puts in some good challenges here and there

i can't remember him making a good pass. I'll never forgive him for hesitating at Ibrox. 3 against 1 on the counter and he decides to hold on to it for far too long before playing it straight at the rangers player. I like his combative style and his tackling is good but i'd rather the money was spent on someone who can pass such as Morgaro Gomis at Utd

We thought we signed an attacking player with a flair for creating. Turns out Brown is getting shoe-horned into a blustery defensive midfielder who gets about.

N'Guemo is a better tackler and a more economical passer and is naturally a DM (although I appreciate he's used as an AM for his country). In my opinion he's better than Brown.

i would get him. young, not scared to get dug in, and can see him becoming more of a rock in the middle like lennon was, espeically if he is appointed manager.

He's also played near enough every game this season, only dropping a few games when he's been on international duty, or injured, so he's seen as better than any other CM at the club.

OH! And please stop comparing new players with old players. Petrov wasn't spectacular in his first season, it takes time.

Theres always far too much comparison of players back to Martin O'Neils team, and it really * me off.

    Dont buy

I think we have guys in the squad that can do his job just as well, so the money can be better spent elsewhere.

aye, and for 99% of those games we've been over-played, over-powered and over-matched in midfield.

Don't buy as he was part of the problem last year. Powderpuff midfielder
who is always capable of giving away prized posession time and again.

He's been hit and miss, some good games, some awful games, some indifferent games (pretty much sums up the whole team though) so I wouldn't be bothered one way or the other if we got him or not.

If the price was lowered a bit then yeah why not, but if it's £1.8 million then probably not.
