Niall's wiki has him at 6 feet. McCourt 5'11.5"

Morten is 6ft - 6'1" ish but is broad and strong

    Darren is 6'-6'1"

    Fortune is 6"

    Josh is 6'4"

    Rogne 6'3"

    Hooiveld 6'3"

    Sammy 6'4"

    Milan Misun - 6'1"

This one shocked me: Loovens is only 6'1.5" - broad

    McManus 6'2" - broad

    Caldwell 6'1"

So we have ok height in the front and at the back. The big men we have brought in (Thompson, Rogne, Hooiveld) are bigger than what we had (Loovens, McManus, Caldwell, O'Dea').

then again player's stats are notorious for being fibbed about so who knows if these are all accurate

everything about a player matters. would you rather see your 6"7 CB trying to win the ball in defence and at corners or your 5"5 winger?

rubbish! i have seen small guys that out played big players and out muscled them plenty of times! your also useing hieght as a be all and end all,and yet the amount of young kids at grass roots level who get told by idiotic wannabe coaches that they are too small to play football! is well frankly a * joke.there are players who are small who do the damage for example, mess, iniesta, xavi, cannavaro(a cb)who is apparently only 5"10. he does well does he not. also look at rooney! there just a small handful there to say your theory is a load of bollocks.

But you could not afford to have a team full of small players all successful teams have at least 4 big players.

Physical strength doesn't go with footballing ability, in most cases. But, for a CB, having only strength and height can work well. We should maybe get a tall DM, our CB-s are good enough when it comes to aerial duels.

dont know hard to truly say for sure? personally imo! i dont think you do need mega heigt in the team. if your team has the ability with small players who can hold their own and out pace, tackle, pass etc a bigger team! then height for me doesnt mean hee haw. i uderstand your point and i respect your opinion of course but i dont agree and you dont agree with me either,so we will need to agree to disagree then :50:

when did i say that being tall makes you a good player? thats right, i didnt.

yes you do see players that are pocket size turn out to be the best in the world e.g. messi xavi iniesta etc. and yes you do sometimes see a smaller player beat a taller player in the air, but for every time that happens there is a million examples of taller players beating smaller ones in the air. you cant deny that a 6"7 CB would have more chance to completely destroy anyone under 6"0 in the air.

so you can go shove your idea that my theory is "a load of bollocks" because its simple physics. you need to go back to school mate:bbpd:
