    Yes there are a lot of mitigating factors in all of this. Yes it is a disgrace that these schemes still exist in 21st century Scotland. Yes it is a cycle of Substance Abuse -> Crime -> Prison, and yes that cycle is so old cavemen probably had dodgy housing schemes (no doubt there's a cavedrawing of Marvin Flintstone shooting up with his pet dinosaur, Arrow).

    But at what point do we stop with the cheesy moral relativism and begin to realise that they aren't exactly doing much of a job to break the * cycle here. These people aren't living in a South African Township or a Sudanese refugee camp here.

    Some people's lives are harder than others, that's an unfortunate aspect of life. But at the end of the day, nothing is predetermined, people make their own choices, and those choices dictate your place on the sliding scale of good and bad. Most people sit comfortably in the middle - then we get the people of Onthank estate. Guess what end they gravitate towards.

    Watched this today on BBC iPlayer, fantastic entertainment.

    That Marvin (think that's him) who kicked his weird girlfriend in the stomach when she's pregnant, is a scum-bag.

    The majority of it, is absolute classic.

    her response to that was - "he has to make a choice - the blues or me"..
    I don't know if she was referring to the huns or the diazepam tablets he was on (are they blue pills)..

    He's a (30 something) junkie who had been clean for 6 months..
    she's an 18 year old junkie who'd just come out of prison and was on a methadone program , and the two of them seemed to think that getting together was going to make their lives complete.. A powderkeg more like..

    seen alot of them in killie town centre today. marvin was surrounded by a possie of young teamers shouting his mouth about the cash they gave him. chris was swaggering around lik he owned the whole town. that kay is a * idiot lying to the police and then admitting it on camera. * tubes!!!!

    i was a bit of a ned myself when i was growing up,but i grew up a lot the last few years.i cant believe hes stull acting like this at 20 years age.hes got the mind of a 15 year old.* be living this life of his own bullshit forever & sadly so will his kid.his dads bein threw it all before i dont know why he cant talk some sense into him.

    * me. ive had to take all sorts of pelters at uni today.

    Also do you not think its ridiculous that the police are more concerned about videoing folk at the fitba and making folk sit down than actually arresting these clowns who are clearly taking hard drugs infront of kids and taking the * out the taxpayer at the same time.

    Folk like the BNP want britain to be for Brits only, well i'm sorry. I'd rather have a polish brickie or an indian doctor living here contributing to society than have these scumbags polluting my town

    I hope that wee * cunningham gets a serious bleeching one day, scumbag family. :38:
