    old one but planes trains & automobiles is absolute fcking class best laugh i have ever had from a film
    if you have already seen it watch it again i have about 20 times & always laugh .

    I'll list some good films from the far east for you.

    Brotherhood (South Korea). A drama about the fate of brothers forced to fight in the Korean War.

    Assembly (China). A soldier fights to gain recognition for comrades who died during the Chinese Civil War.

    R-Point (South Korea). A horror set during the Vietnam war. On 07 January 1972, the South Korean base in Nah-Trang, Vietnam, receives a radio transmission from a missing platoon presumed dead.

    Hard Boiled (Hong Kong). A tough-as-nails cop teams up with an undercover agent to shut down a sinister mobster and his crew.

    Bullet in the Head (Hong Kong). When three close friends escape from Hong Kong to war-time Saigon to start a criminal's life, they all go through a harrowing experience which totally shatters their lives and their friendship forever.

    A Better Tomorrow (Hong Kong). A reforming ex-gangster tries to reconcile with his estranged policeman brother, but the ties to his former gang are difficult to break.

    A Better Tomorrow II (Hong Kong). A restauranteur teams up with a police officer and his ex-con brother to avenge the death of a friend's daughter.

    A Better Tomorrow III (Hong Kong). At the end of the Vietnam war, Cheung goes to Saigon, intent on bringing his uncle and cousin back to Hong Kong.

    Battle Royale (Japan). In the future, the Japanese government captures a class of ninth-grade students and forces them to kill each other under the revolutionary "Battle Royale" act.

    Fearless (China). This film tells the story of Chinese Martial Arts Master Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910). Huo Yuanjia was the founder and spiritual guru of the Jin Wu Sports Federation.

    Ong-Bak (Thailand). When the head of a statue sacred to a village is stolen, a young martial artist goes to the big city and finds himself taking on the underworld to retrieve it.

    Warrior King (Thailand). A young fighter named Kham must go to Australia to retrieve his stolen elephant. With the help of a Thai-born Australian detective, Kham must take on all comers, including a gang led by an evil woman and her two deadly bodyguards.
