thank * for someone else who isnt letting their emotions get in the way of a clear head. I was getting it thick for daring to be anything other than ecstatic. TBH I probably would have been more hyped up if I was there or in the pub but watching it on a feed on a laptop tonight doesnt really have the same hyping up effect.

Delighted for us(fans)and delighted for lenny and the happy wee smirk on his face as he sat in the dug out was priceless.

Like i said , its their players switching roles and constantly moving outwide, then bringing the full backs into play. Sort of a counter attack- but not on the break. Just a really fast play. Watch the likes of Whittaker, Naismith and Davis join in together while Laffery and Miller are in the box.

All this going on when they have sitting midfielders- rarely seen Edu and Thomson push into the final third.

Thought we played well in the 1st half and it was great to see MAF getting his goal after what happend with his last goal against them . Kamara played really well and i thought N'guemo played well , his passing was decent . Wilson's clearence was amazing , it was heart in mouth time as that ball came in . Wish we could start taking our chances better tho with the likes of Brown's header and kill teams off quicker instead of nail biting finishes , and as always that thug McCulloch never lets us down with his usual late tackles and had to laugh when Miller was shouting that Mcgeady dived , was that not what McCulloch done when him and O'dea came toghether in the penalty box ?

WHY did we stop playing the 2nd Half - It * annoys me when we stand off them and make them LOOK GOOD !!! - Yes i am happy with the result, but if were to go up another level then we need at least 5 good players next season. left back is a must and naylor is NOT the answer . Kamara looks a great player and not afraid to put the boot in. Damien`s Disciples are NOT happy because of the penalty they didnt get..it was ALWAYS on the cards we would get EVERYTHING going tonight.....Try giving us Everything when were still in the title hunt.

Tonight was about beating them not about playing lovely free flowing football, the majority of tims will be ecstatic just about beating der hun and I find it bizarre to be anything but.

You have to take games in isolation.. Against top 6 sides results would be lorded over performance because you know it's a banana skin , likewise against opposition out of our league (Ross County , AC Milan etc).. If we played to our potential every game we'd not lose a game all season so maybe there is a blind eye mentality to some games , but Im feeling like we got the absolute maximum we deserved tonight and that's more than fine.. It's just not leaving me feeling any different from the win over Dundee Utd , Motherwell or Hibs and I thought it would have done..

fair point but OF games are often ugly matters. Tonight we won and showed we can fight and scrap for wins which is basically 99% of what Lenny has done in all his games except Ross County. Tonight it was basically football mahem and we won but there was a lot of random chance in it as usualm could have gone either way so there is not a lot more to take out of the game. I think a lot of people are seeing this game through the Lenny manager issue and that is colouring it.

I put it down to being sober during an old firm game for once.

I'm just glad we took the shine off their title party tonight. We wern't anything special tonight, particularly in the 2nd half. Kamara was a bit too hot-headed, played for the shirt though and I would be happy to keep him on.

I just hope the summer rebuild will sort out our glaring problems and we get tore into that shower of * next season.

Hail Hail lads! You can go to bed knowing that filth across the City are in permarage mode most likely.

Tonight really showed how much we need players who can retain possession of the ball.still it was a good result and we finally caught some breaks

That was the first time in years that I was hanging onto the edge of my seat! I thought that was a great game or at least the best we've shown in a few years :celt_2: It was like having 9 or 10 Neil Lennons out there what with all the snarling and bite! I was amazed to see Sammy when he came on shove the rangers player into the stand...........a season ago he would have held out a hand of apology!

These games are never about great football...........they're a dog fight and the toughest come out on top  If we had played with half that fight and passion throughout the season we would have won the league :icon_mrgreen:

each to their own. I just dont get that fussed on the results of OF games when the title has gone. I just am not into football for the OF rivalry bragging rights as much as some people are. When the result is technically meaningless I am interested in the tactics and players not the result. It was an interesting game tactically. I would need to watch it again to see the patterns properly though.
