Is everyone happy with these edgy wins?

Its all great we are 5 games unbeaten, hopefully it continues but its still the same old stuff, missing chances, making games hard for ourselves and it hasnt changed under lennon, are you happy with that, sitting on the edge of your seats every game hoping we dont concede, while lennon has proved alot of things he hasnt shown he can win comfortably yet, hopefully he does, still think he should be an assistant manager or go somewhere else for experaince first, hes proved

we can hold onto a lead
we can come from behind again
instilled some fight in the team

just that last one missing, winning comfortably which we are capble of as we are creating the chances but like the last few years not putting them away, you might say we are against the top 6 teams but id hope we could beat some of them 3-0 or so, the rangers game will be massive for lennon anyway, hopefully we can win one game this season

 

i am happy as before we were losing these games

 

It takes time, first of all winning scrappy , then ugly means 3 points we can tweak style later

this is the best run this season, under TM in my opinion we lacked everything
so this is a step forward

 

i agree, but id like lennon to show he can get the players ot take their chances and win the last OF game as well before id consider him to take over next season

theres no point making a negative out of five league wins, lennons getting the results mowbrey couldnt and playing better football than strachan did

 

The squad of permanent players is a lot poorer than it was this time last year thanks to Mogga. So I do not think any manager could make this squad a really good team. However, Lenny has done about all you could do with these players. He has disabused them of the idea that Mogga gave them that they are good enough to simply step onto the pitch and blow away the opposition. They are not that good, especially after Moggas alterations to the permanent staff. The truth is that our players are a bit (not miles) better than the other SPL sides just below us and that to maintain that modest quality edge we have to match their fight. Lenny has drilled that into them and so we are getting the results albeit not sexy football.

 

Its just about getting wins on the board at the moment and trying to get some confidence back.

At least it gives us some momentum before the old firm game.

 

lol im not saying anything about playing pretty football, couldnt care about the celtic way, im saying we dont take our chances and i dont wantnext season to be a repeat create the chances but dont take them and dont win the game

 

This belief we have a * given right to win comfortably is pish, to be honest. Three points any week, every week. * style, and i said that this time last year as well. I'm a lot happier following a victorious team than a team trying to play good football. Scrap away Bhoys. If that's what it takes, and we are a winning team, i'm delighted. Every time.

 

I'm blown away at seeing a thread like this.

Lennon is working with the exact same players Mowbray was, so to do what he has done is a great achievement.

Everyone was moaning, and rightfully so, that we weren't winning games...now we ARE winnings games and yet some fans moan about how we do it!? Unbeleviable!

We are winning and that is the most important thing, first and foremost.

Some fans really need to get a * grip.

 

* sake 38 1-0 wins = Champions. Doesn't matter how we win and by how much so long as we do win. Thats something Mowbray couldn't understand about Celtic - we must win before we play well. It may have been acceptable at West Brom but not at Celtic

 

agree with you 100% mate,we win a few games and people are starting to complain again that its not pretty enough.winning is all that matters,end of.

 

Aslong as we win games i do not give a * how its done

 

winning ugly brings the confidence to believe in theirselves, so winning ugly or winning beautiful, who cares !! as long as were winning or at the least fighting tooth and nail to win, thats all most of us ask of the team

 

never * happy on here lads eh! we won great that will do me. time to rebuild and look to next season to get our title back from they *.

 

once the confidance has been installed again and the duds are replaced i would like to see another crack at mowbreys attacking philophy im still all for playing the celtic way

* is this "Celtic Way" - Like many other's we NEED to start winning games again and beating the likes St Mirren, Hamilton . - Mowbray's Celtic way has put the team back big style. That shower over the road can win dirty, and can defend unlike our lot. it's really frustrating watching that lot lift another title and they are not great shakes...this board better get it right this time cos i am not prepared to accept a SKINT club take another title.
