    Hooper is a very good player but considering the lack of goals coming from midfield including the wings, if cardiff lose today we should look at wittingham.

    Meanwhile Celts look to have edged ahead in the £1.5m race for Scunthorpe frontman Hooper after he made a hush-hush trip to Scotland on Thursday.

    He was shown around the club's Lennoxtown training complex after Lennon travelled south to watch him for the Championship outfit in their last two home games of the season against Reading and Nottingham Forest.

    Wigan and Wolves are also trailing the highly-rated 22-year-old striker, who hit 20 goals for United last season.

    Don't forget Rasmussen everyone. He is a goal scorer, he has shown it now on a few occasions.. But if we do sell Samaras and Fortune we porbally will need 2 strikers so Hooper would be ok, depends who the 'big name' is.

    I think we gonna need a striker like Keane and Skippy who have both a goalscoring tuch and can do something with the ball.

    At this moment we got Fortuné and Sammy who contributes at lot, but not scoring loads of goals, and a goalgetter in Rasmussen who's doing * apart from standing in the box and wait for the ball drops in.

    We simply need a player who's a comprimise between that two types of player we can paring with either Fortuné or Rasmussen depending of the opposite and the tactic.

    Dunno IF the player is Gary Hooper, Rickie Lambert or Nicky Maynard.
