People that feel the need to post a receipt of a restaurant bill on facebook seeking some sort of shallow validation of themselves. Big woop you spent £330 quid somewhere and there was probably about 10 of you.

Spent that on bar bill or a roulette table but somehow I managed to resist the urge to post the bill to facebook to show what a massive douche I am.

Sometimes I write, what I believe to be, a semi-decent post then I keep refreshing the page like I've got a finger tic to find people don't give a * and haven't responded. That can be quite demoralising and annoying.

I imagine it's the equaivalent of saying something in conversation and the people you're speaking with not really paying any attention.

I shouldn't care, but I'm just too sensitive :icon_mrgreen:

Does everyone know to use 'search' at the top of the page,and to search their username using the 'show posts' option,and you can see whoever's quoted you since your last visit?

I'd look for your posts to make sure I reply to avoid you stressing out mate, but you've got 33,000 of the * so don't think I'd keep up :icon_mrgreen:

In saying that, you're a popular guy as internet forums go - I went to TalkCeltic Night out last year and the guys there were saying you were one of the best posters on here n they were hoping you'd make an appearance so don't sweat when every * ignores your insightful posts

No, I only compliment another person via internet forum. If we were in a room I'd just hurl verbal abuse continiously so it's best we don't.
