Another thing that annoys me is when people use "middle class" to describe themselves when they're clearly working class, or when they use "working class" as a synonym for "ned" or as a term of abuse.

Most people are working class. It's something to be proud of.

    Again spot on!

Me and my mate where talking about this the other night; he's a plumbing and heating engineer. Met a boy he used to go to school with; guy said to him:

"I never thought you would amount to anything when we were in school; good to see you are getting your hands dirty though"

He says, oh and what do you do. His reply; I have a degree etc etc.

    He works in McDonalds.

A significant minority of the British working class has always voted Tory.

    Turkeys voting for Christmas.

Scotland hasn't really since the 50's. After Thatcher then it was non-existent.

I think that's a sufficient enough period to say that we haven't.

Getting mildly irritated by there being so few posts on TC today.

I'm stuck here. Entertain me, my flying monkeys.

People from Belfast who put an overly-forced Belfast accent (and not for a joke).

When there are over 350 people viewing TC, and yet hardly any new posts.

I can't do all the work, people.
