Keane Or Improve The Team?

Even if we could sign robbie keane, would you rather we did, or that we signed 3 or 4 players to improve the current shambles of a side for the reported £12m valuation?

personally i'd rather improve other areas of the team, as we don't have the quality round about keane for him to be a worthwhile signing IMO.

Hmm.

Keane's goals would always mean he is a valuable player, but if we improved other areas I would be confident someone like Rasmussen could get a similar amount with good service.

So I'd maybe opt for strengthening other areas.

 

Improving the overall squad is the most important, although can't see why we can't do both if we sell McGeady or Brown.

They'll want Aiden, Brown and probably a declaration that Keane can't play them if we cross paths.

Oh Look we need a few astute signings and one of them would have to be a central midfielder. However, if by some miracle we are going to be able to keep Keaneo, we are going to have to give up something. McGeady I'd hate to sell...however, success isn;t a '2 year project', and we need a team ready to run in the champions league qualifiers...3 or 4 new signings will not solve this problem asap...we learnt this already and we have enough good players to win the league if the right combinations are used early enough

 

It all depends on how much money the board are willing to spend which will probably not be a lot. Not to mention we still need a new manager.

 

as much as i dislike aiden, i wouldn't be willing to offload more than him for keane.

and i wouldn't fancy mccourt thompson ki or caddis playing in must win european games

 

Not a chance in * the board would come up with the fee nor the wages , add to the fact keane has seen how * poor this league is and will not want to stay here one sec longer ,

He has states on many occasions he is going back down South.... Rightly, he doesnt want to play full time in Scotland, he came for a 5 month loan good for both him and Celtic.

I think its time to move on lads, Keane is a quality Premiership player, no way does he want to play in the SPL.... !!!

i'd personally want a left back, centre back, centre midfielder and a striker.

wouldn't keep landry, would sell aiden, then sign a new winger or two.

We need both to be perfectly honest, strengthening throughout the spine of the side, and a top quality striker if any become available...

A manager of stature would demand this from the board!
