Still think mcgeadys final ball is * poor. hit the byline all night and dont think he picked a man out once. for all the great dribbling and threat, he doesnt produce. story of the last 3 seasons, sadly.

Zaluska - 8 He was excellent, reflex saves and decision making both top notch.
Wilson - 5 Think he is done in all honesty, can't get up and down the line and isn't that great at defending or attacking
    O'Dea - 6 Thinks he is a ball playing sweeper, he isn't.
Thompson - 8 Still a raw talent, lacks pace has pretty poor positioning but he won us the game.
Naylor - 7 Amazing how confidence affects this guy, I think he played well and linked well.
McGinn - 6 Some decent crossing but needs to be more direct and use his pace more.
N'Guemo - 7 Worked like a dog and has a habit of coming out of 50/50's with the ball. His vision is good but his weight of pass lets him down. Still, at least he tries.
Brown - 5 Anonymous apart from 2 blocks in our box. Game passed him by in an attacking sense, same way it always does.
McGeady - 6 Drifted past players with ease then never got any height on his crosses, another frustrating performance from him really.
Kamara - 6 Clever player who is good at linking up but he wants too much time on the ball for the SPL.
Keane - 7 Grafted same as always and his intelligent movement is brilliant to watch. Finishing was strangely not up to scratch for a change though.

Seriously? I don't think he found a celtic player all night. It is obvious his confidence is shot. I thought he was very por and needs taking out the team. Also thompson credit to the lad for the goals but motherwell got in on a good few occasions and still have major doubts about him defensively. Mcgeady deserves a 7 at best got by his man brilliantly but his final ball is atrocious and when he shoots it barely reaches the goal.

nguemos passing was better than it usually is some slack passes can be forgiven , he worked like * done browns job for him. On thomo i said his defending was suspect but he's a youngster, and mcgeady was the only midfielder having shots tonight , mc ginn had 1 shot that went over

I agree about N'Guemo. He did make a few good tackles but as you said his passing was quite poor tonight.

Mcgeady needs to do more he had three shots and none of them ever looked like troubling the goalkeeper. He has no conviction in his finishing.

he done more than keane , kamara , brown and mcginn goin forward , keane had 3 shots all night (i think ) and kamara barely had 1 and their strikers , is it a rule that aiden MUST do more than everyone else or what

I'm not talking about keane, kamara etc i'm talking about mcgeady. The forward players were very poor and that includes mcgeady. He can beat as many players as he wants but if he can't get a good final ball in what is the point?

    Just can't get enough!
O'Dea is getting hammered here, but he wasn't all that bad, but I will say he did * about a bit. Won a lot of tackles and headers against Jutichsapbz (whatever!) in the second half, and they looked like scoring twice in the 2nd half, neither his fault.

The team was much better in the second half, but I was seriously concerned by how bad the middle of the pitch is, Brown, out in the summer!

In a sick way I like being able to say "we were mediocre but ground out the result" usually when we we're not clicking we got nothing this year

What's up with N'Guemo? He was probably the worst player on the pitch.

aye, i would agree, i think n'guemo was average at best. aye, he likes to get stuck into a tackle, but its usually because his touch is so poor that he has to make his second touch a tackle. think his passing is pretty shoddy as well. We really need a central midfielder, in fact, any midfielder, that can hit a dig! the number of goals scored by our midfielders this season must be pretty terrible.
