    I love the guy to bits but these * clowns on the park look like they have cost Lenny his chance of getting the job, although he got it wrong big time today and his subs where baffling:31:

    He will still have the job till the end of the season but this put a massive dent in his chances of getting it permanently.

    Not sure you can blame him.... the team is crap with about 3 players who are actually bothered about the club!! Personnally I think it is too soon for Lennon but Mowbray put this team together so the blame lies with him, the board and definatly the players!!

    100% agree... Mowbray punted the spine of our team. Lennon is trying to patch it for the rest of the season. I don't think he can be judged purely on today.

    cant blame lenny .the players are a total let down over the full season out allcups and competitons without a whimper ,shocking behaviour from a pool of players who look as if they dont know each other never mind play a full season together shocking .

    Today was the most important game of the season so far the players knew that and so did Lennon now we will have a trophyless season and who denied us the trophies not the huns not hibs not even Ross County our own bunch of pathetic players.

    Exactly what i thought as throughout the entire game it looked as the head of youth devolopment was telling lennon what to do Mjallby wasnt even asked his thoughts at any stage by the looks of it and he is supposed to be Lennons assistant.

    Lennon gave a very honest and damning interview on SKY after the game, stating whether or not he is there next season some of the players definitely won't as they went out of all competitions with a whimper.

    It's ludicrous to judge a new manager of the basis of one game.

    As Celtic fans, obviously there is a tendency for us to spit the dummy when we lose to a division one team. Our pride is hurt, and rationality goes out the window. It's "sell the whole team", "sack the manager", "sack the board" etc etc.

    But the bottom line is that Lennon should never have been a serious candidate for Celtic manager in the first place. It's not a job for someone just starting out. It requires someone with experience and a decent track record - in our case a track record of reasonable success with not a lot of money - because that's what it takes to win the SPL.
