Few good pubs on Falls Road. McDermotts is a good bar, but stay clear of the Celtic Bar, it's a * dive.

Stick to the city center good bars everywhere. The city has really come on. you dont need to go up to west belfast. The phelans is the only good bar up there for the old firm great atmosphere,

The hole in the wall up off the Antrim Road, just far enough away from the New Lodge to put the Lodgers off going:icon_mrgreen:.

Davitts is belter craic, always feel welcome when I go for a pint after the gym. Maddens in the town is good, but can be pricey! The set dancing on Wednesday nights is beezer craic!

Steer clear of Kelly's it's a dive too!

Powerful craic man! Most of the ones in there are sound, and the bar staff are good craic. It was closed there for the best part of a year and a bit. New owners and all.

Know where's * as well, Whites!

Generally if you stay in the pubs off Castle St, you'll be sweet in town. No * squaddies running about!

Defintley recommend if anybody goes ferrys superb on expedia for about 30 quid train it's new Glasgow Belfast Port 31 quid much better than flying also some cracking views down that Cairnryan coast .Guinness is good as well and if a smoker can stand out on the deck and have a smoke wae a guinness.
