Would you offer Boruc for Keane?

Obviously this isn't a realistic scenario, but given their goalkeeper situation (Gomes is crap), would you use Boruc as a bargaining tool in negotiating with Tottenham to keep Keane here? Offer money plus Boruc to them?

 

I wouldn't offer anyting more than 1 million if boruc were part of the deal, a straight exchange would be more fair

 

nah i woudnt i think boruc has been celtics best keeper in years and i dont really rate zaluska tbh! nearly every goal into him goes rite through him!
artur boruc on top of his game is world class!
would love keane to be here aswell tho if he cant get a game for tottenham and celtic would fork out!

Yes, Although Zaluska hasn't shown to be a capable replacement so we would probably have goalkeeper problems.

lads gomes is very highly rated at spurs, been one of there best performers during the season. they have no intention of replacing him as number 1, so boruc as part of a deal wouldnt even be an option.

 

That's a tough one. I might be tempted though.

Not for me am afraid, you can get guys that put the ball in the back of the net all over the place, look at Skippy and Larsson they cost just over a million put together, but quality keepers are hard to come by.

I would hang onto Boruc coz we all know how good he is and if Keane goes and the board don't want to splash out then am sure we will find someone to put the ball in the net.

anyway back on track, i would swap him yes. Zaluska is nowhere near as good as boruc but Keane would win us trophys with the sheer amount of goals he would score

 

Emmm....no. That's not what I said. I said that I had used the words "Obviously this isn't a realistic scenario" because I don't see it happening, not because I think Gomes is good.

not a chance in *... for a starter Boruc has been the best keeper we've had in * knows how long and secondly, we've got far too many strikers in the squad let alone another striker that is costing us 65K a week

 

i would swap him - keane would score 30 every season in the spl and zaluska is decent enough in the spl. John Ruddy at motherwell (loan from everton) is a good keeper and would cost little.
