It just shows how pathetic the orange order is when they are up in arms over the visit of a man who gives great comfort to millions of people , I am a protestant Celtic supporter and would find it a great honour to see the pope , So lets not rise to their bate as it shows what small narrow minded bigots they are .

if people want to see the pope then fair enough but i wouldnt wanni see him i have no respect for the pope the whole thing is corrupt from top to bottom .. benedict went over to america when jp was in charge to move the priests from one parish to another that was milesting waynes ( sicko ) and hes the leader .. naw sorry but i cant be apart of that .. i was brought up in a catholic family but im against it .. there are alot of priests in it for the right reasons but its full of paedophiles and gays in there to cover it up ... there man made laws are a joke i have no respect for it and i never will read your history on it protestants done right to protest against it just my opinion

Good post mate. I have already stood about 2 feet away from Papa Benedict and it was one of the most wonderful moments of my life, if not the most wonderful, of course I could never expect to be in touching distance of him again when he comes to Scotland. My dad who is a hardline atheist broke down in tears as we seen him walk towards us. Going from a spaceman as he called himself to having a crucifix above his bed, shows what a grace and life changing experience it can be to view The Pope in person.
Sorry I haven't read the full link, because they bore me so much.

"We take this opportunity to call on all the people of our land to examine the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, especially on the matter of eternal salvation,"
Yeah maybe they should, and we would have even more Catholic converts

    Proof ?
