Really don't want Roy Keane. He is not a good manager. Struggling with Ipswich for * sake

Problem with Avram Grant is I'd imagine he is on a ludicrous wage at Pompey. Well the players are paid ludicrous wages so why not Grant who's earned a shitload at Pompey twice and Chelsea...

For anyone who follows Dutch football though, I'll whisper it.. (Steve McLaren)...

alex ferguson.-well have you seen some of the names being mentioned on here.

lennon if he proves he can do it in 8/10 games.

david o leary if desmond wants him

bilic if he got the kitty (maybe/doubtful)

keane would be another TM look at ipswich

hughes would be great long term manager

lambert hasn't got experience enough yet

john hughes, ticks all the boxes for me

sutton/lennon/mjallby sounds great but it might be time for somebody whos experienced, lennon get a shot at it and that gives us time to have a right good look

Well i think what we need is one of two managers, either a relatively established one of the likes of Hughes who needs to re-establish his reputation and i think what better than to show he can do it on a tight budget and be very shrewd. As we all know he had unlimited funds at City. This would be a test for him and he may be enticed. Or we could go for someone in the mould of a manager who gets more out of average players aka Walter Smith and is also a tactician. My choice would be Steve coppell, he does exactly this and is a realistic target.

He gets more out of average players and has been around the block doing very well with reading.

His team got hammered 5-1 by St Johnstone a few weeks ago..
1 win in 9 since beating us , standing on the touchline during the game with Hearts at the weekend trying to get more from his players only for Riordan to turn round , effing and blinding at him and (apparently) Hughes just took it.. If a manager is not getting respect from his players then he's not going to get the best out of them.. Is he a big enough name for Celtic ?

john hughes will not do a job for us. i just cant see him motivating the players enough to make any real impact. a few weeks ago he had hibs in 2nd winning at parkhead, all going well, but bottled it. we cant afford a bottler just now.

    Lets Get Real!

Lads we really need to get real about who we think we can get to replace tony! It's all very good the bookies giving good odds on Mark Hughes or 20/1 on Jose Mourinho, but there is not a chance in * we stand a chance of getting a TOP manager, European or otherwise!

I would love to see Jose, Hiddink or some other top dollar manager but it ain't gonna happen, if it was it would have happened in the summer, instead the two guys we asked said no.

    HAIL!! HAIL!!
