Scott Brown has been with us for a number of years now and has plenty of time to prove himself blowing hot and cold during his time. For me he has been very disappointing

I think we should sell him and get nguemo and kamara on permanent deals.

I think nguemo is twice the player (high pass rate, great tackler and at breaking up play and usally very consistent) at half the price there would also be cash left over to try and tie kamara down also.

This is assuming our budget will be tight in the summer as I am sure it will be .

Do people agree or would they not want brown to go.

Not seen anything to suggest we should sign Fulham reject Kamara on a permanent deal and for me N'Guemo is just as hot and cold as Brown.

I concur :50: I would get Steve Sidwell in to partner Brown. Now there would be a central midfield partnership for you.

Very good call. Realistic as well since he isn't playing for Villa and surely MON would cut us a good deal

    Yep
And Sidwell is another ginger. So we would make up the ginger quota again :icon_mrgreen:

Complete and utter pig in a poke.

Brown has done nothing for me to suggest he can partner anyone in midfield and do a good job. So we our going to keep trying to get brown a good partner * him had his chance get him on his way. I wouldnt even play him now i would play nguemo with crosas or even ki before brown.

Brown cant even pass the ball these days and is a bit of a liability

nguemo and robson ( it was criminal selling him )would have been at great pairing. IFS AND BUTS

i agree, brown has done nothing in his time here, how he's captain * knows, we need a natural leader to bond the team and unite them all, something he is not, cannae even knuckle doon and concentrate on his own game, always involve in handbags aw over the pitch, a player wi fire in his belly is a good thing, but not if thats their only contribution, i would sell him soon as,
sidwells a * good shout if he was available

He has been injured .When he has played he has looked decent. Althou 1 or 2 games passed him by. but you can definately see he is a good player

I'd happily see Brown gone, and that is not something I say often about a player. However in Brown's case I believe it to be true, as he is not doing himself or the club any favours by remaining. He has been a headless chook for all too long, and is a massive liability when it comes to discipline etc. When I thik of Brown's better performances they tend to be memories from Hibs or Scotland games, and few, if any, in the Hoops.

Don't get me wrong. I think he is a decent player, but one that is far more suited to being part of a team that doesn't quite have the same expectations as what Celtic do. I think he could go on to do quite well fir a mid table EPL club, as he does for Scotland, but there is not the same pressure and expectation that comes when playing for these teams that comes with Celtic.

I think if we sell him he will do great at another club. I dont think his heart is in it when playing for Celtic . Tony might of thought to make him captain will make him up his game but it hasnt happened.

Cant wait to see hooiveld get a run. Hopefully he is captain material because theres no one else except keane who we cant really count as he will be likely to leave in he summer.

Have said it from day one mate.

While their is no doubting a player form the 'dark side' can come here and be a success (Harry Hood, Kenny Dalglish, Davie Provan, Craig Burley, Paul Lambert etc), Scott Brown has no passion for Celtic.

I remember him scoring for Hibs at Parkhead in 2005 and giving it the full 'get it up ye' to our fans. He has never shown that passion on the odd blue moon that he scores for Celtic and his celebration is always muted.

It's naive to think otherwise in my opinion.

sell sell sell, the guy simply cannot pass, would love to see his pass completion rate because every time i see him pass to the opposing team, we need to fill jerseys as of next season, in my eyes his been empty since he arrived, think he got player of the year due to the fact he covered the most blades of grass throughout the season.

Sums it up perfectly. Scott Brown is * garbage. Amazes me how he's still getting talked up by so many.

Actually hurts seeing him with the armband.

EDIT: Also agree on the point about his passion for Celtic. He has none what so ever, honestly can't believe he's still here and captain. Shocking.
