    From WGS to Tony Mowbray

Strachan felt the time was right to move on and mowbray has come in and got us playing alright but we've just been missing a little bit of something don't know what it is but we're not to far away from being the best in this country.:icon_mrgreen:

"I'm pretty sure that some journalist, probably from Scotland, went there and asked him a leading question and Barry answered it, probably very honestly.
"But nobody's going to put a wedge between me and a lad who I got on very well with when he was here and I wish him well in his career."

In terms of sour grapes and so on... they weren't allowed freedom of speech when they were under contract here, but had to tolerate TM saying that the 1st team needed a major overhaul. Now, they are able to answer back. They're not gripeing they're offering opinions they are entitled to hold. It's certainly a pity that they are speaking to knuckle-draggers from the Record - but that's all you can really object to. I bet Robbo and Mick would rather be playing in hoops.

We did well with WGS for the most part. We may still do well with TM (perhaps). If there was any public disrespect it was TM's disparaging remarks about the 1st team pool when he arrived.

No need for that. I just disagree and I do not want to yet again go through every point yet again. The core of how I feel about it is if you take away the January loan guys papering over the cracks and what has Mogga really done to improve the team? I see no progress at all to date in firmly establishing definate (not maybes we have not really seen) perm players in ANY positions who are improvements. I also see no sign of a manager who can find a blend of players to make a team. The closest he came to that was the pre-window winter team which did not bad but abot 7 of the 12 or 13 players who featured on that run have been sold or sidelined since Xmas. After a year you at least should be seeing some progress. If I could see some I wouldnt be so negative but I do not even see a glimmer.

Playing alright? You must be * joking.
What we're missing is some decent players with a winning mentality and a decent manager

These guys are entitleed to their opinions, as are we all. I wish them all luck in their current clubs & hope they do well, but really, is anything that any one of them say have any sort of impact on Celtic as a club, or on the support? No. It will help sustain newspaper circulation, and that is all.

Don't buy the 'meeja's lie, and it will put an end to it. Starting with the Daily *.

    Spot on Barry :50:

Strachan had a fraction of what MON had to spend on his team, yet won 3 out of 4 titles, took us to the last 16 of the CL twice and his team had a never-say-die attitude.

His only failing was to hang about a season too long.

Mowbray has ripped the heart clean out of our team and installed a complete clown as captain of our great club.

What I'd give to have this determination in our team now:

Yeah Robbo's a legend. He's just handed the media another stick to beat our manager with and another excuse to start up rumours about our most saleable asset leaving the club. And he's done it at a time when the pressure is on Celtic and they are trying to salvage something out of a poor season.

He might well have been a really good player but in this instance Robson has been a * imo. The way McDonald and now Robson are behaving I'm glad Tony Mowbray punted them * first out the door. They clearly have more loyalty to Mr 'my style of football is pish but I'll tell you it's great and if you disagree you don't have a clue what you're talking about' than they do to Celtic Football Club. Which is probably part of the reason Mowbray felt the need to punt them in the first place.

    :54:Love that vid.

You just look at the passion on the pitch in the dug out and in the stands.

    That has all disappeared now:54:

    Great video.
Love the passion from strachan on the touchline. Had his faults but never lacked enthusiasm.
Anyone else feel sick when they see Kenny Miller in the hoops though?

I have heard it all now.

I am not disputing the fact robbo did a great job at celtic especially for 3IAR,, however

Celtic legends are people like Jinky, Larsson, Auld, McStay, McGrain etc etc, certainly not robbo.
