They just had to mention Serbs, eh?

IQ of people in aforementioned article isn't higher than 10. All together.

The man who said those words is a * who hasn't seen the horrors of this war. The sides involved clearly avoid such remarks, but the loyalist GB * toss words just like that. Never been on the battlefield, and they behave like they know all. Idiots, no wonder the results of the latest poll on racial/ethnic tolerance in Serbia show that English(and probably NI Huns as well) are amongst the most hated people. Even you know they're vile *.

You don't know that for a fact, lots of stuff happened in Northern Ireland, so there are some chances of those who said that were actually involved in some sort of fight.

By the way, 'horrors of war' aren't strange to people in NI, neither on Balkans. And I doubt you experienced horrors of war.

Errr, yeah... The sides involved (presuming you mean Serbia and Croatia) don't avoid such remarks, they intend to insult Croatians and vice versa as much as they can. It's not strange, it's quite common and you know that.

Don't know about that poll, but it had to be British, nevermind what poll was. That's because Brits are people who cause negative connotations of all foreigners who come to Serbia. They act like peasants who came to Serbia like it's some sort of safari.

Yeah, we're quite stupid nation, but even we managed to work it out.

Everyone knows Englishmen and all who suck up to them are the lowest scum on the Earth, and the case shows it. The worker is probably Catholic, and that's another reason Huns think of as worthy to make people's lives miserable.

Just read this properly. People who do this generally don't have the guts to do this one on one but need others behind them.

It can happen, but I doubt people here would throw as vile remarks as that NI scum did. Same goes for your people. According to that same research(results published today), they do not like us, but still I doubt they'd openly tell such things in front of a Croat. They don't want a second war. The world outside SE Europe hasn't got a clue what happened here, they'd probably want another war to make profit on weapons.

    Leone, that's... fascinating...

Are you kidding me!? Go around internet, see graffities on walls in Vukovar, Belgrade, Zagreb and many others cities and you'll find many, many more examples of hatred between two nations, it's quite clear that Croats and Serbs generally hate each other.

You doubt they'd tell such things in front of a Croat? Depends on location, but I'm sure 90% of situations there would be a fight, not just bad words exchaging.

Of course we don't war, neither do you, nobody wants war. Common sense.

World outside South-Eastern Europe doesn't have a clue about our war? Give me a break. It's ridiculous thing to say.

How is this hunnish behaviour, this abuse could have come from any background in NI tbh

Cant just be labelling this hunnish behaviour without some proof.

Minority groups are subject to this everywhere unfortunately and yes, an Irish man, a Celtic supporter is capable of being racist. Why cant it be a republican subjecting this man to this abuse?? Stop with the blind hatred please

I'm glad this man has gotten justice

Okay, I don't watch graffiti contents, and you may be right about the hatred(though I referred to Serbians, not Croatian Serbs, they are indeed more vicious about the war), but the people living in Western Europe and USA have no clue what happened here, and make half-arsed claims as if they do, I can guarantee you this. This NI * is swinging around with the war to fit his own motives.

 You go to Newtownabbey in a Celtic jersey and see just how warm a welcome you get.

And if you check the statistics, you'll find that ethnic minorities in the six counties are far more likely to experience racial prejudice from loyalists or in loyalist areas.

    Graffiti are just an example.

Don't know about Croatian Serbs, but I imagine it must be really tough living there as they don't have anywhere to go surrounded with all that hatred.

I'm sure people in US and rest of Europe know at least basic stuff about the war. And those more informed know many facts. But those half-arsed claims... anything specific you wanna tell me?

Well, of course he is. He obviously doesn't know much except for he thinks Balkans live in tribes and have 18 kids. He did speak stupid stuff he doesn't have a clue about, I can see where you're coming from.

Although, something tells me you wouldn't be like this if it happened to Serb in NI... Am I far off the mark?

About 3,500 people died in the 30 years of The Troubles. At least 120,000 died in the 4 year Yugoslav Wars.

    Shoosh.

The Yugoslav Wars were the greatest humanitarian disaster in Europe since the end of the Second World War. Comparitivley speaking, The Troubles do not come close on the "horrors of war" scale. That's the point.
