I would have kept Fox, Skippy,Robson and definately Caldwell until either we signed a quality experienced match fit CB or the summer. Getting rid of them removed the best of our existing spine-arguably our best CH, CM and CF. It was not worth the Caldwell cash to end up playing kids at CH recently. Very short sighted IMO. I know fans turned against Caldwell but he was by far our best CH, POTY, club and national captain, now playing well in the EPL. We do not have any fit CB with a CV like that. I tthink that cost us. Selling Robson was a classic cases of a football idealist not seeing the value in a Robson type player at this level. Apparently he is doing absolutely brilliant for Boro and the SPL and championship are a similar sort of level. Skippy was (and even now would still be) our only natural poacher and a big game player. The chances to goals ratio of the players we have left-Fortune, Sammy and even Keane is really poor and you cannot form a good striker partnership. Mogga may have signed a poacher in Rass but he clearly doesnt see him as ready. Its all a big balls up IMO. For me Mogga was mental during a good pre-Xmas run with a settled side so suddenly transfer (could have waited till the summer) our best CH, CM and striker. Terrible mismanagment IMO.

anybody sayin that to criticise means you're not a celtic supporter is on the *. we're all frustrated because there are schoolboy errors happening that aren't corrected. we're all frustrated because of daft substitutions and tactical decisions that does your nut in. it'd be one thing if we didn't have the talent and just get beat by the better team. it's quite another to have a more talented side and throw it away. it's unbelievably frustrating. anybody who has a problem with venting about it needs to get off their high horse and get tae *. settling for complete * doesn't make you a better supporter. simple as

We need a proven solution, someone to bring stability. When the Huns were in crisis, they called their old man, Walter Smith, to stabilize things. And he is apparently doing the business. Do we have someone who can do that?

Any manager thats worth anything wants to rebuild a team when he takes over a team, and the kind of manager we need will be the same.
And do not tell me for one minute celtic fans are happy just winning the spl....we had that in wgs but they wanted more.
Celtic are now 3/4 million in dept so there is no cash left to spend.
Unless you mean we should get a manager from the lower leagues in the spl....they will be used to no money.
The celtic fans wanted the dead wood out of the team....they got it.
They wanted wgs gone.....they got it.
They wanted a celtic minded manager.....they got it.
    NOW LIVE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!.

now this is how to be a * supporter. wish for bad results to justify ones opinion and then rub everyone's nose in it.

it was WGS's time to go m8 and hiring Mogga was a mistake. How's that the supporters fault?

Mowbray has always said he wanted to build a team for the future, that was never going to happen overnight. I think some of choices and decisions are very questionable but i dont know the bigger pciture he is looking at. Alex ferguson was one game away from the sack at Man Utd and look at what he has achieved since. Maybe Mowbray isnt the right manager but at least give him more than a season. He didnt inherit into a team of world beaters and has made significant changes, they havent gelled together yet but maybe in time they will. How many of our players have played in an OF game before compared to Rangers ? We cant sack every manager who doesnt win the league one year. We have dominated so many games this year but just not been able to get ball in back of net. If we had even picked up one point in these games there would only be a point or two in just now. Rome was wasnt built in a day so give TM a chance.

comparing sir alex to mogga again? never stops being hilarious. fergie was already an accomplished manager by the time he got to manu and faced higher competition. mogga did * all before getting here and has done * all since

and that is a talent that makes someone a * manager. We have had three or four managers in the last 15 years who had the knack of playing well but losing. Not one of them ever changed it round to become a manager who can win games and grind them out. In that period the 3 managers who had that happy knack showed they had this gift within a month or so. The thing that WGS, the MON/Robertson team (as a whole) etc and WiM had in common is they were first and foremost excellent at detailed training ground coaching with an ability to organise players into teams who could grind out results on pishy midwinter pitches. The market means we will not be able to get super gifted players so the organisation and character are vital. Unfortunately Mogga doesnt have this and Wattie has it in spades.

it doesnt matter which way we look at it here!

we need to get shot off mogga now not the summer now,and bring in lennon for the remainder of the seson. at least we might see passion from the team and on the sidelines. then look to bring in an acomlished manger who will know exactly how to make us tick again. at this moment we cant even tick right either.

A great Celt like him who has tasted victory plenty of times, and was a top class defender would do the trick, I hope. If he had been given the job after GS, I'd accept him without moans. And people here remember I moaned about Mowbray. Now, it's clear why.
