I fear that we will spoil it tbh,,too many wont be able to help themselves shouting out due to the mass hysteria the press have and are building surrounding this game..Huns are hoping we react this way..A nice big green and white banner stating * BLESS YOU GERRY NEEF would be interesting..Nowt wrong with that... unless your a hun of course:bbpd:

Great idea mate, if there are any Celtic fans out there who want to shouting there mouth during this silence then think twice. The best way to get it up the huns is do exactly the opposite of what they want us to do.:50:

have u seen a handsome hun

think back to the banner those skunkerfucks held up after tommy burns passed away. get it right up em. rfc acted amazingly at tommy burn's death....but their fans in the most part were scum...... i'm not for one minute suggesting that a minutes silence for this dead man should be sullied....but celtic fans holding up a banner to honour a player from our rivals......can you see that happening in milan, manchester, london.

I can't see this happening either but would love to see the reaction of the Gers fans if it did. These Arseholes are expecting us to go into this and disrespect the guy and if we do that then the huns get what they want.

If we held up a banner it would get the same * in the papers as singing during the minutes silence.

Its obviously a ploy by RFC to drag our fans down to their fans level and by the posts on here it seems it will work , Let the headlines be about what happens not off the field .

Most of the posts I have seen and posted have been about respecting the guy.

Because our supporters are better than that , I dont want our club dragged into the gutter by a little game that Rangers are playing to provoke a response , Is it asking too much to observe a minutes silence for some unknown then outsing the * for 90 minutes ?

some posts in here i would expect from the apes at the monkey cage tbh.

dont take the bait! cmon its a friggin minute of time just to show the family of the man respect. now i never heard of him! but does this really matter? there will be people shouting out it is an of game after all. but showing respect to someone who died is a nice and fitting tribute. and for the record * the huns!!!!

Don't know about you but I care what they say about the Celtic support, i.e me and you. A large percent of the population read these rags and anything negative will dent our largly good reputation.

I don't want our name dragged through the gutter just because a few can't keep silent for 1 minute.

Absolutely! Why is there even a debate about this? I am sure that if a former Celtic player had died just prior to an Old Firm game, the Celtic support would want to honour his memory and would expect the opposition fans to do the same in whichever manner his club decided appropriate.

I dont give a flying * what the papers say about us.

We don't care what the animals say,
What the * do we care,
    For we only know,
That there's gonna be a show,
And the Glasgow Celtic will be there.

They will try and print rubbish about us anyway.

Well if they are going to believe everything they read in rag papers, then their opinion is not worth worrying about.

lol and heres me thinking i was going to read all the get it up the buns, * there minutes silence etc!

Well done to those who care what people think about our club:celt_2: (lol nae offense BOBM1967)

Lets show these baboons that they are the animals and I bet the result go our way!

I think a minutes silence is a bit strange nowadays, nice to see but a minutes applause seems more passionate and can silence they boo'ers.

But what they would be reading would be true if the minutes silence is not respected, the papers wouldn't be making it up.

It probably wont be respected, why dont the papers take another slant and ask questions of Rangers F.C as to why not go for the minutes applause ?
