I agree, that makes us just as bad as them, if not worse as its unproven. I thought we were the fans with higher moral standing than those knuckle draggers, lets not be dragged down to their level.

this thread is asking for trouble in my opinion.

Its time to take a look at the bigger picture, if you are the type of person who is going to sing a song about an alleged rape and laugh at it, then you know what. * you

football ain't a child's birthday. it's all about emotions during the game. some people swear, some people just sit there do nothing, some people sing, some others shout etc. winding up the opponent has always been a key element in football around the globe and always will.

I have every faith in the fans behaviour, there will b some banter but nothing to serious, the fans behaivour is the one thing that we can always rely on

and if not, well they made fun of Lennon when he was attacked, idolising those who did it, so it wouldn't suprise me tbh

I'll be disgusted if there is a section of our support who sing about rape, fair enough taunt him about getting battered, but anything thing to do with sexual assault and I can garantee I won't be joining in. But saying that, I'm confident that we won't shame ourselves.

I'm not going to even debate this.

Let the stuck up element in our support (witch I suggest are the same element not helping the atmosphere at CP) Sit with there over sensetive offended by everything heads on and say how shocking it is we put up a banner and once again find an excuse to put our own fans down. :50:

    Change the record, please.

If not wanting to partake in joyously singing and holding up banners about a rape that may or may not have happened makes me 'stuck up', then so be it. I'm sure your carefree tone would be different if you had a family member or friend affected by the issue.

It's not about putting our own fans down, it's about refusing to live like * animals.
