Aye a hate it nothing worse going into work and seeing smiling hun faces with people who you dont usually see coming into your department with that stinking grin on there face , they fairly crawl there arses out the woodwork, against aberdeen my mobile got launched off the wall, it didnt break, if it did i would have repaired it my self as i repair them for a living!! :52: but a guy on another forum threw his remote through the tv, there was a picture of it, thats what it means to us fans

It really really frustrates me when we get beat or draw i get my self in a right mess and feel like cracking right up:50: and go in mood swings for half the week

Defo * you off at times anyway, last Saturday was a prime example after throwing away that lead and then Sat down to watch Scotland throw away the lead over Wales and * lose.

Having a bit of rough 'n' tumble with your brother isn't really what I was getting at, I'm more talking about the random smug hun in the pub or on the street.

Anywho, back on topic!! Hunskelpin' is a thread for the pub! lol

    Come on Hammer....

    Bereavement is not a game.
Terminal illness is not a game.
    Starvation is not a game.

    This is just a game.

Aye if we get beat I am sad , but I pick myself up quickly and look forward to the next game!
    Winning does make me happy!
Though I wouldnae kick ma dug or cat if we got beat.
I love the hoops to bits- but you have got to put it into perspective!
Especially when you read the bad news about Mr Marty!!!!:54:

This will sound odd as it's coming from a Hibbie who has gotten so used to seeing the Cabbage get gubbed year in year out but it always eased the pain if Celtic were doing the stuffing.
My ideal weekend results are Celtic, Hibs, Everton and Aston Villa all winning.
Icing on the cake has to be the Huns going through a humiliating defeat and another crisis at Ibrox.

Childish? Yes, but it does feel uplifting!

Yet another negative crap from you. You don't get affected when we do well, you just come here to whine when we're doing bad and slate players.

Football is not just a game. It's much more than that.

I'll quote great Bill Shankly: “Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that.”

Celtic is a club that was born out of charitable aims for a desperate group of immigrants that were starving and would have died had it not been for the club. Yes on the face of it, it is a sport but being a Celtic fan is much, much more than just a result at the weekend. It is a way of life for many people, including me and the emotional effect of a defeat is completely natural.

It only lasts until the next game when new things come about. It can all change so quickly in football.

It dies down a bit as you get older, but ive been in tears umpteen times with Celtic, both with joy and with pain.

One game that always sticks in my mind, and I dont know why, is Juventus away on our Champions League debut. I've never been so gutted in all my life, actually couldn't speak for about half an hour with tears pouring down my face.

To fight back the way we did from 2-0 down only to be mugged by a diving * and a coward ref just ripped my heart clean out. :54:

Tears of joy when we won the cup in 1995, when Naka scored the free kick to win the league at Killie (was behind the goal :icon_mrgreen:), when Henrik scored in Boavista and when we clinched 3 in a row at Tannadice to name but a few.
