i think the board will stay with him. however i can see the above happening. quite scary to be honnest, don't think we can afford to be inbetween another manager for next season!

I was about to launch into a tirade defending the manager there then read the content, although it * me off I'm afraid for the most part it is a well constructed and thought out article based entirely on truth :54:

After reading the highlighted description of the other lot, its makes me wonder how we could have got it all so wrong. There is no excuse for us not at least being level with them, but in reality they should be chasing us by 10 points ffs. I tend to agree that the board will stand by TM just now, but if season tickets and attendances are down next year, with no CL football money coming in either then success had better be quick or the Board will have no qualms in sending him packing.

They find themselves trying to claw back 10 points on a team that contains a 39-year-old veteran in defence, a workmanlike midfield, a Celtic reject and a £3.5million waste of money.

I have said this time and time again this season, it is just completely unacceptable.

And to all those who criticize and shout about us criticizing Mowbray and claim that we are bringing the team down by doing so. Please * off, you are the ones bringing the team down, by living in your fantasy world pretending things will get get better.

'TIme to Gel' 'No Rome in A Day' is the * I hear some of you say, we shouldn't need time to gel with the kind of opposition we are up against.

Peter Martin is spot on. He is just articulating what the majority of Celtic fans are feeling just now, apathy and depression. It is the board and manager's collective responsibility, but especially the board imo. because they should have made certain that we got our No.1 Target for the job not No.3 Mowbray

Mogga will stay to the end of the season at least. The journos can spin it how they want, it's be a dissapointing season so far, but the refurbishment was badly needed and like I've said before the fans WANTED this change in staff and personel???

That's the puzzler, this panic will only stop once we win the league again, by that time, * knows how many managers will jump on the Celtic waltzer.

In the supporters eyes the group of players we have just aquired are good enough to win the league, but the manager is not!?

Let's not be so impatient that we cut off our nose/chin to spite our face.
We'll win the spl soon enough. No crisis!

IMO losing the league will not cost TM his job, but if he fails to win the cup and show major improvements in the run-in (including beating the huns home and away) then I'm afraid it will be the parting of the ways.
Only by achieving the above minimum targets will he be allowed another crack at it next season (IMO.)

    My thoughts?

    My thoughts are these..........

I wish people would just shut the * about Tony Mowbray and let him do his job until the end of the season. End of story.

This article hits the nail on the head, its is actualy depressing when you think of it,i can only see it get worse for TM before it gets better

Your right mate, hopefully they'll deliver one but if there's a drop of points tomorrow then there will be * to pay. I really think a lot of people are at breaking point after last Saturday.

Take your green tinted specs off. Even TM backers couldnt argue about anything written in that article. Wake up its there in black and white.

Erm.....I disagree with the first 2 sentences of the article and that's without even reading the rest of it!!

I just find the whole situation tedious now. Everything that can be said has been said. We should just focus on supporting Tony Mowbray and the Bhoys till the end of the season and see where we are then.

Thinking about next season, if things are as we are led to believe then rangers will need to sell some players, and some will leave as they can get better paid elsewhere once rangers are forced to tighten their purse strings even more. Could be that Walter goes as well so there really would be no excuse for us not winning the SPL next year, in fact we should be able to win without any manager in place !

Spot on. Cant disagree with any of that.

Think Mogga is away win or loose the league, would not suprise me if the board used family reasons for parting company with Mowbray.

He does not look to be enjoying his time up here one bit, his body Language tells you that.

Couple of bad results in our next 2 games and he might not last the season. Desmond calls the shots, Reid can give Mowbray his backing all he wants but Desmond is the man that has the final say.
