Just off the top of my head I remember 2 of the last teams to do that! The first being Motherwell at Fir Park when they tore the huns a new *, SCORED a perfectly good goal only to be ruled offside!..The second team being Celtic at Parkhead. We're far superior to them, SCORE a perfectly good goal only to be chopped off!
I think youre either a hun or youve fell victim to the media coverups!:87:

That we would have been screaming for them, doesn't actually make them penalties.

The first one, you could excuse, I thought it was a penalty. BUT, other camera angles showed that the keeper made initial contact with the ball before touching Miller. It was not a penalty, and further evidence for the need of double-checking these things with replay technology.

If the keeper did not make first contact with the ball then he could not have been the one to change its direction, and so must have been denying Miller a chance to score by fouling him and should have been sent off. There can't be a half-measure, either it's denying a goalscoring opportunity or he won the ball.

That could be excusable, but then we get the second penalty, which makes you wonder. Firstly, contact in the box is not an automatic penalty. It just isn't - there was no infringment made. The closet thing to a foul you could imagine would be obstruction as neither player was close to the ball, but that is not a penalty kick (it's an indirect freekick). There is also no way adequate contact was made for Boyd to go to ground - it's a poor act of simulation that McDonald has predictably fallen for.

As an aside, I noticed one time when Wilson I think it was headed the ball back to McGregor, who picked it up. If you read your rule book, you'll find that this is technically circumventing the back-pass rule and a freekick. For some reason that's ignored all over the world, which is incredibly annoying.

No one is denying we are * , this is the worst Celtic team in many many years but cheating from refs haven't helped us and have given you're team the title this year. There would be very little in it had there been a level playing ground this season.

I haven't seen the incident your refering to here but the keeper is allowed to catch the ball if it's headered or vollyed back to him. Unless i've missunderstood what you've said?

Giving it back to the keeper with the intent of circumventing the backpass rule is, technically, against the Laws of the Game. It's never enforced, though.

Hardly a unique thing to Scotland but it's still odd. Just thought I'd mention it.

The first one the goalkeeper Perniss got the ball and Miller dived like a pansy.

The second one Boyd dropped to the ground like a chocolate soldier.

As many people do say, Celtic are playing bad. And that is obviously a contributing factor, but JamieBhoy67 is still right in what he is saying, I live in Canada (obviously by my user name) and stereotypically like many Canadians I play hockey. In the NHL (National Hockey League, professional league) video replay IS ALLOWED. I find that in 99% of the games, this makes all the difference, hockey is a game that is very quickly paced and can be very hard to follow. almost every game video replay is used to fix, or prove a call right and without it, ALOT of mistakes would be made. I play recreational hockey, an obviously a town league couldn't afford something like video replay, almost every game something is wrongly called in the game, often the only thing standing between a win and a loss, in-fact today in one of my games a player on the other team scored but i was not counted because it bounced out of the net quickly, and the refs didn't see it. Now i don't think JamieBhoy67 is completely right in what he is saying because soccer (football) can be very hard game to ref, especially when you have to make a call on the spot a far distance from play. But this is still all the more reason to bring video replay into Soccer (football). And i find it ridiculous that even though the technology is already there, they still refuse to bring in video replay even though it would only be a minor change for the better.

Unfortunately, we can't hold the SFA accountable for not introducing video replays & other such technology. Thats FIFA's bag.
