    Would be no problem if you were unscrupulous - there's no real I.D check involved.

    All you would need to do was buy a domain (bout £5) and set up a catch-all email forwarder on it, so it forwards mail sent to any address at the domain to your own email. Then spend about an hour a day voting with random addresses...

    Might check the IP addresses you vote from, so it would be a good idea to have a broadband provider who gives a randomly assigned IP.

    Well, in short, if you buy an internet domain for about a fiver, you've got as many email addresses as you want. So in theory you could vote as many times as you want.

    Not saying that's what she's done, but it wouldn't be that hard to do.

    Well they could keep a log of what computers the votes were being placed from, but there are ways round that (that was the IP address bit).

    And you'd have to choose the domain name carefully -
    nationalpolishsociety.co.uk might be a believable one. :56:
