do you rate zheng zhi

Good squad player, shouldn't be a starter though. I rate Ki,Nguemo,Brown and Crosas over him anyday, again good player to have though.

 

like others before me have said he's a SS or AM and looks out of his depth in a 2 man CM

i also think he's strong on the ball!!!

it's just that for some reason the REFS in Scotland think barging into players and kicking them, (even if it was an accident) isn't a * foul.

I'm sure it's the SFA's way of trying to close the gap between the provincial clubs and the bigger clubs but it's a ridiculous secret policy.
The Dutch league is similar to ours in the respect (of a few big clubs and the rest provincial) but they didn't let their football descend into a kick everything that moves style, its a joke so it is

He is what he is, a very average player. When you think where he came from, Released from Charlton available to anyone who wanted him!!! not one Championship, Div 1,2 or 3 not any english team interested in him, and if i,m not mistaken went back to China and still didn't manage to secure a club came here and has had only a few decent games sorry nice guy no doubt but not a class act

 

Zhen Zhi's a squad player at best, He's neat and tidy and does the simple things well. Can never see him doing anything amazing tbh

Sorry for the thread bump but I would like to share something with you.

Despite being the Chinese football captain, practically no-one has even heard of Zheng Zhi here in Liaoning province where Zheng Zhi is from. And yes I have met plenty of football fans. Even when I do meet people who do know him, they say "oh, the Charlton player". I am curious to see the shirt sales figures for Zheng.

He's a good player, but not good enough for Celtic, I think he should find another club for the sake of his career.

Honestly, there has been the very odd touch here and there, but nothing substantial. Truth be told you would expect as much from a youth or development player brought into the 1st team squad, indeed, such a youngster could be brought on slowly instead of what the space this guy occupies.

Whatever he was brought in for, it hardly seems like it was for his football ability.
