Fortune was judged far too quickly, like most players do when they walk through parkhead's gates. He's starting to find his way now, beside a poacher I think he could be excellent.

He's only played over 70 minutes in 7 games this season and in those 7 games he's got 6 goals

    Needs to play more tbh

I agree. I think his all round play is very good and would work amazingly with a box striker. Maybe Rasmussen is that player. To be honest it has to be them 2 upfront tomorrow.

I worry about our defence still. I mean Im all for trying to reshape and I also think that Mowbray is doing it right. We need to pluck the best players from leagues similar to ours that dont cost an arm and a leg.

Hinkel is a must for me tomorrow as is Hooiveld, as for beside him I would say throw Rogne in. From what is coming coming out of Norway about him sounds very encouraging. Thompson has done well enough to be fair but he is just not ready yet. As for O'Dea I would not have him anywhere near the first team. We really do need another CB. Reports about this spanish boy may be true and that for be would be good.

LB is going to be a problem. Wallace is to expensive for us to buy in this window. Mulgrew would be a better option for the short term or a loan deal for an experienced LB. Once that is complete then I think that we should have a strong enough team to push on in the League. I just hope it is not to late.

If we win on tuesday against Killie and beat the huns twice there is only a point in it assuming we win every game. But that will not happen. Nor will The scum will all their games. It really is not over, not by a long shot

The player was under pressure right from day one due to the transfer money spent on him ,so some were looking for a superstar and a goal machine etc ,its not his fault that the transfer fee was so high it just made harder for him to settle but he is getting there and he does looked more and more happier than he was before and yes he can play a bit,but again he is not an out and out striker.

I think he's been good the last few games he just needs a poacher beside him.

Exactly my thoughts..it's good to see him grabbing some goals and I hope he can get one or two against Hamilton.

I'm starting to like what I see with Fortuné, and he is an ideal second striker. If we can get him linked with a poacher who will get us 25 goals a season then I'll be happy.

settling well now with some match fitness and a few games under his belt pace power and athleticism in spades i think he'll go on to do very well for us i really do.
i've backed him against the boo-bhoys from the start and my faith is being justified!

I liked what I saw of Fortune at the start of the season and now more recently since he has got back into the lineup after his injury he has has looked quite good and has added some goals to his game as well. Clearly when you look at his career track record he is not a prolific goalscorer but I think partnered with the right player he could well turn out to be a very good signing for us. Obviously we haven't seen Rasmussen to any great extent but vis a vie McDonald and Samaras I would have him as our best striker right now. Plus while 3.8m might be a lot for us given the going rates out there for top level strikers I think Fortune will end up justifying his price tag.

pace and power yes but no control and not a football brain in its head. if its strength and athletisism you want to see watch rugby. this guy will never be a player for celtic. almost £4 down the pan.
