Boruc?

A couple of easons ago the big man was worth 10m. All he does now is pick the ball out of the net. I dont if its just me but, but he is not making the major saves anymore.

I would go for resting him, apart from the Hamilton game when was his last clean sheet?

the guy is a world class keeper who happens to play for celtic! how many times has he saved our * in the past? so what he has made a few bloopers! big deal so what. he is still no1 and thats because he is the best at the club simple as that really! and besides i reckon he will save our * again at some point,he aint the 1st nor the last player to make mistakes!

 

Artur cannot possibly be anywhere near his best he is at least 2 stone overweight you cannot allow yourself to fall so far below your best weight and expect to be 100% get a photo of him"which I have" when he first came he is an athlete compare it to to-days what a shock how the manager/coaches/trainers do nothing about it is a scandal.

 

Zaluska is a good replacement! He needs some time out to decide what he wants to do with his career! Needs to sort out his mind and his body!

 

I take it the bold bit is about Boruc. How much times does he have to cost us goals before we say enough is enough? Boruc has been awful for a while now and we have gave him long enough to get back into shape.

he dosent need time out he needs to be dropped to da bench and reminded who hes playing for * CELTIC FC no other top club would let him get in that shape so either should we

 

we could forgive him the odd mistake but its happening too often now.his condition is a disgrace and the fact that he smokes aswell is also shocking,he has no interest in getting fit aslong as hes no1.id drop him to put the * up him and if that doesnt change his attitude then he must go.simple as that.for the guy that says he saved our arses in the past,thats where it is, in the past.

 

It's a really sad state of afairs. Artur has let himself go and is no where near the world class goalkeeper he once was. We don't work with him everyday but from what we do see it appears to me that he has no desire to get back to his best. We have to share some of the blame for idolising him when he's been *. He comes out every week knowing we'll chant his name. The ironic thing is WGS would have been slated if he'd let him go for £9m

 

And who is extremely unfit and nowhere near his best form.

We simply can't afford passengers, especially not in goals. Either he gets in shape and back in form or he shouldn't play. His "goalkeeping" for the equaliser today was inexcusable - why on Earth was he standing flat footed beyond his left hand post? If he's in the middle he saves it.

Either he wasn't concentrating and is mentally unfit or was too slow to turn around and get back, in which case he is physically unfit. No player is beyond getting dropped - whats done in the past is in the past, all that matters is whats happening this season, because the players should be treating this as the most important title race ever. Then next year, THATS the most important one ever, and so on.

 

I think after looking good early season he has let himself go. He has now had a number of bad patches in recent years and the not so good times with Artur are slowly adding up and soon they might equal the good times. I think its time to move him on and an offer of 5 or 6 million should be grabbed if its made. I do not think we would get more considering his form and his now well known mentalness. Zaluska is a very similar goalkeeper, even has the same weakness as Arthur (crosses). I think 6 million in the bank is worth a lot more to us than Artur. Definately sell him in the summer.

 

It is sad to see and sad to admit how bad Artur has been this season!
The majority of Celtic fans love Boruc, i believe!? all he needs is time out to sort himself out! hopefully he can prove he is our number 1 keeper again, in mind, body and soul!

 

good that you all judge Arthur, we never had any keeper that could lace his boots before, and i mean never, and there was never a complaint about any of our keepers before, and we had some howlers, from away back and up to, before Arthur arrived, so dream on before you cast the first stone, shots in on goal from distance he has saved a few, but defenders letting him catch goal mouth scrambles ain't Arthur's fault. there are players here at parkhead that haven't improved and are not likely to do so and help Arthur out by winning and scoring more goals.

 

I'd love to see what he was thinking about at the first goal today.

 

He's not physically or menallty fit, and is on a poor run of form.

How is that not grounds with which to drop him? Anyone else would be, and you know that fine well.

Aside from what happened years ago, what has he done in the last few months to justify his place in the team? A goalkeeper should be consistent first and foremost, and Boruc hasn't been consistent, making regular errors and has cost us goals we couldn't afford to lose.

 

there was loads of complaints about previous keepers.the fact is boruc should be in better shape than he is and if you cant see that then your not being honest.

 

I love the big man but he hardly ever makes a save nowadays teams seem to only hit about 5 shots a game into us and any of them that go on target usually go in.

 

You must have been living in a cave on mars, facing the other way with your fingers in your ears. EVERYBODY complained about our previous * keepers.

 

What everyone means when we say he's living on past reputation.

Again another howler, we're letting in too many goals that zaluzka would be saving.

 

Or be slaughtered for if he didn't.
