Lambert is the man for me, he's a winner.

    Would flourish here IMO.

Another thing I dislike about Mowbray, he sits there like a * statue in the dugout as if he's trying to get the heat out of it FFS, expected far more from Peter Grant aswell, If I was assistant manager I'd be out there giving it * everything from the bench, like Lennon did. Why he got demoted to the reserves beggers belief.

What had Strachan won as manager, Walter Smith before Rangers? Moyes before Everton?

Lambert wouldn't stand like a statue, for Colchester and Norwich he's out there giving his all and the team recognise that and want to play for the man, nothing like that is happening with Mowbray.

Ok, it's not looking good at the moment. I'm willing to wait and let this team develop, hopefully the defence will shore up with the new additions because that is our problem. I have said it all season, we are just going to have to rely on scoring more goals than we concede (as daft as it sounds), because at the moment - we're leaking goals everywhere - i don't remember the last time we had a clean sheet! I would be distraught if we lost the league, but I believe Mowbray's style will come good if we give him time, but I completely understand the need to get the title back where it belongs... Keep the Faith!

It's interesting how a bad result changes peoples minds.
I'm sticking by TM he will do a good job for us, Give the man some time.
Like he said after Hibs match.
Come back to me next year and see whats happening and then ask me if i think we can win the league.
He has confidence in his players, he is showing it, very lightly.
If the league isn't here by end of season, no matter what you think or want he won't get the sack.
He's doing what's best for our club, it will take time for the players he brings in to mould and like he says he is building for a team to dominate for years to come.
From the players he has brought in so far most look promising.
Aswell as this he is also building for the future ahead of this dominating team with young good players coming in.
He's the man for the job, and all the negatives he is getting isn't making it any easier for him.
If you want the title back at parkhead get behind him. Face it he's going nowhere, hes staying so get behind the gaffer and the bhoys and push them on to win this league.

What a load. C'mon, the season is not over. I still have faith.

As for Sammy, if he were a world class finisher he'd still be at Man City. This is why Skippy is a good pairing for him. One can finish the other has the engine and drive and is decent at linking play. He cost us almost nothing and people want him to go... seems silly.

People resent Oneill for leaving an ageing squad on big money. WGS gives us Pressley instead of Balde and Dublin for Sutton and its all good. Now Mowbray brings in young guys and has a lot of injuries and folk want him out. If his team is as * as Strachans in YEAR 4 then get him out but dont criticise him for having a long term plan. Robson and Hartley wasnt a long term plan

Burns won a Scottish cup and was a hero. We alll wanted more time. Jansens team wasnt as good but on title because Rangers picked up less points.

Being Celtic manager is all about circumstances. Get behind the manager and let him build his side that will last for the best part of a decade.

Strachan had a mandate from the board to reduce the wage bill. Nobody like it, but it was absolutely necessary that it be done.

    Ladbroke:

Do you think sitting just 2 points ahead of a Hibs side whose team cost less to assemble than Fortune is acceptable?

Is losing 3 out 5 home games in Europe after having such a remarkable record acceptable?

Is winning 12 out of 21 league games acceptable?

Is telling the players that they're not good enough thus knocking any confidence out of them acceptable?

Is sitting 10 points (albeit with a game in hand) behind a Huns side that haven't spent a penny in 18 months acceptable?

Is what he does at the touchline (Nothing) acceptable?

Answers to all the above mate, is no.

The man is not going to get us anywhere, it's a shame because I like him as a person, but he's not cut out to be manager of our football club.

LOL at people complaining that he isnt animated on the touchline!

He's not being paid to jump around a la O' Neill nor is he being paid to be a darling to the Scottish Hacks. Anyone citing those reasons as a sackable offence need their head checked!

Certainly not a sackable offence, but still a minor reason.

What impression does it give that we're getting beat 1-0 and he's sitting acting as if he's not bothered, and even admitting he's not 'enjoying the job'.
The fans want to see the manager trying to motivate the players when they need to be motivated.

Its not a reason at all

If you have to try and motivate players on the field then you didnt do your job in the dressing room. You should only have to make minor tweaks to tactics during a match, jumping around giving yourself a heartattack is a sign that you arent that good at managing

A minor reason? Rubbish, just becuase he doesn't jump about daft on the touchline doesn't mean that he doesn't care.

As for not enjoying the job, Celtic supporters are already shouting for his head and a few of the players he has brought to the squad are just though the door. He's striving to get him own team on the pitch, to play football his way - this takes time and if people aren't giving him it, of course that's not going to be enjoyable.

Okay maybe not a 'minor reason' but certainly an annoyance.

I wasn't the only one at McDiarmid Park on Sunday angry that Mowbray seemed glued to the bench when 1-0 down, others around me were questioning why he wasn't out there shouting at the team when they were playing awful.

I just want the guy to leave TBH, the league is as good as gone.

I'd be prepared to give him time to rebuild the team if I thought it was necessary. Right now, it's not neccesary. At the start of the season, we had a very settled squad who knew each other inside out. They might have been average at best but they were still far superior to every team in the S.P.L. (with the obvious exception of Rangers).

We outspent every team by a considerable margin. We're like the S.P.L. equivalent of Man' City. Our budget is gargantuan in comparison to every other team in the league.

Not only that, Rangers hardly provide the same challenge they once did. They might be able to grind out results but they can't afford to buy a single player.

No new Celtic manager has ever had it this easy. Tony Mowbray went into the Celtic job in the most advantagous position of any Celtic boss in my life. He shouldn't need time to rebuild. The set-up at the club means any manager worth his salt should have been able to achieve instant success.

We are regressing under him. The team is getting worse rather than better and the results prove it. I think the best thing for us right now would be for him to leave. It could take years for us to recover from the damage he's already done and I dread to think what will happen if he stays for another season or two.

This isn't an overreaction. We're more then halfway through the season and his record speaks for itself. If he stays, I can see an almost bankrupt Rangers winning two then three-in-a-row which is a scary thought.
