Fox to Burnely

Ok going with what Sky Sports News are saying on there website, Lee Naylor is off to Ipswich & Danny Fox is off to Burnley, & Stephen McManus is off to Boro, thats good that we are getting rid of players we don't need, but seriously! Who the * will play at Left Back, from now to the end of the season? I really don't see why we would be so stupid to allow Fox to go to Burnley, unless the board are certain of someone else coming into replace him, or is the plan Darren O'Dea is now our new Left Back?

 

They would not sell if they had no replacement lined up , Mogga obviously does not rate Naylor as a LB was one of the first players he bought .. Kilbane might be brought in as a short term replacement until the summer!

it was just on ssn that they are interested in fox but no fee has been agreed so any talk of medicals etc is premature

What about Caddis... IMO i thought he played pretty well yesterday and could impress if given a few games...

 

I don't think it's a great loss providing we get a replacement. He looked good compared to Naylor but at times his positional sense was just as bad and his crossing was only slightly better. Gets beat too easy for me, go for Wallace or somebody

 

caddis only worked in that position cause we attacked for 45 mins they had nothing,he is better on the right back or right mid,we should imo go for mulgrew who can defend better cross better and even score a few ,makes sense.

 

i heard its to do with him being a bit of a rebel, drugs + that, dont know though but been going around for a while

alot of ppl sayin he cant cross a ball but...maybe that means we should get mcgeady to * aswell then. mcgeady should be crossin the ball alot better than he's doin. think its a bit shockin TM's brought this guy in and basically decided he an go already. was fox scouted or was it a guy TM admired? either way...there's a problem sumwhere to sign sum1 and punt him 6 months later when we have alot worse in the startin 11 and no replacement
