    Rooneys parents are Irish, they probably brought him up supporting Celtic :50: never had anything to do with Stubbs. Although hes good pals with McFadden and usually comes to games with him if or when he does, McFadden brought him to his first match.

    Exactly mate......those lists are embarrassing.Most of those on it dont know or care a thing about football.Apart from Rod and maybe Rooney....none of them are real fans.....but i am sure they maybe like to associate themselves with the brand...because it is seen as kinda cool!(naturally)

    I think a lot of the british or irish guys do follow the tic, but i laugh when i see snoop, jay z etc etc, these guys are just wearing the top for decoration, bet they couldnt name one of our players past or present !!:rolleyes:
