Players that are Celtic fans

I just saw a dvd of the Footballer's Lives programme about Billy Bremner. In it Allan Clarke the former Leeds United and England forward said that Bremner " would have given anything to play one game in the green and white of his beloved Celtic." I would have liked to have seen that. It got me thinking about what players, present and past were Celtic fans, who were good enough to play for the club, but for some reason didn't!

I agree, how can you say you are a fan but devote your time to another team for more money! he will no doubt join us in the twilight years of his career like Roy Keane and all the other fans who collected there retirement paycheck from us and delivered nothing

I can appreciate that players that are fans of Celtic want to play elsewhere - we're not the richest or biggest club in the world. However my problem is when such players swan in once well past it expecting exuberant salaries.

 

I find those players an insult. Its all about them ticking a box with as little as possible sacrifice on their part. These guys are/were already incredibly loaded by the time they were say 28 and they could easily have joined us a couple of years earlier if they really loved Celtic more than even more money. Greedy bassas.

Ross McCormack, Cardiff City, ex hun, massive Celtic fan. He apparently got in a bit of bother at the hun because after a game he had the hoops on under his Rankers jersey, got his balls booted for it.

 

I dont believe he would wear a celtic strip anywhere near ibrox, i think thats a "scott brown has a king billy tattoo" esk rumour, but hes defo a celtic fan.

Daniel Agger from Liverpool is a Celtic fan weird eh?, John Terry, Wayne Rooney, Jamie Carragher and Michael Owen aswell. Terry supported Man Utd and Celtic, Rooney, Owen and Carragher supported Everton and Celtic. Owen's granny is Scottish. James McCarthy, Danny Wilson from Rangers, Barry Bannan from Aston Villa, Scott Arfield from Falkirk. I seen that old player Andy Smith with the big ears that played for Dunfermline and other Scottish wee teams at Old Trafford aswell supporting us.
