Wondering if any of the more experienced guys on this can help me out !

Basically I'm 14 stone, and only about 5'7. I'm actually not as bad as that sounds because I'm very stocky and quite muscly, especially on the upper part of my body.

However I have a decent belly on me, a massive * and have really massive thighs (though they are fairly muscly, I'd rather there was a lot less fat).

I have no idea how to lose this spare weight, I'd like to lose about a stone/a stone and a half. I'm actually quite fit but it doesn't seem to be shifting, I do half an hour every day on the treadmill in my house and I do the weights a few times a week. I've searched high and low on the net but terms like 'whole grain' etc means absolutely nothing to me. What exactly should I eat and how much to get this weight down, which I know I could do quickly because I do enough exercise to do so.

Jiko, any further progress on the gear?

also, yous think that muscle growth and strength gains can be achieved without supplements and just a balanced protein/carbs/vitamin diet?

Haven't had any noticeable results that I can put down to the gear.. I finish the 12th week tomorrow but am continuing the cycle , just switching to a slightly different product from the same lab on a slighly higher dose.. I also haven't experienced side effects so it could be bunk stuff or heavily underdosed..

    I've been using Z-Labs test-e dosed at 250mg/ml.
By tonight I'll have completed 12 weeks taking 2.5ml per week.. (600mg per week).. Started with around 23% body fat which has gone to 19%..
I also used hcg for the first 5 weeks with the test but stopped because I started thinking the gear wasn't working and I wanted to see if there was any side effects.. Didn't get anything at all bar for a little chest and back acne.. Didn't get any real strength gains and feel that the minimal gains I got are down to training harder...

I hadn't been beasting it in the gym at all but kept my diet junk free and high in protein (wasn't calorie counting) just doing a regular routine at home with weights and a cross trainer but still expected some gains..

If you don't train hard then you won't get stronger, people expecting supplement or steroids to do the work for them is the biggest problem you see people having in the gym.

I know and I wasn't viewing it as some miracle drug.. I admit I took shortcuts , training at home at my own pace and then upped it during the cycle.. It's the fact I didn't experience the expected side effects as well as not gaining strength or bulk that's led me to think it may be bunk gear.. If I'd even got a feeling that the stuff was working it would have given greater motivation to train harder for longer.. Im stretching the cycle out now rather than ending it..

Wouldn't mind getting testosterone levels checked to give me an indication of what has been going into my system but not sure if that's expensive on the nhs or if it's something that should be done privately..

Jiko, you know I appreciate all the videos you provide but as a former athlete who's switched from a "non-strength sport" (track and field) to trying to become much more rounded (strength to go with the endurance and speed I know I have in the locker), you're an idiot for using the steroids. They trash your heart and make you think you need them.

If you're not even experiencing results, then you really gotta ask yourself what the point is. And don't think because your not getting shrunken balls, backne, and roid rage that internally you're not doing yourself a disservice.

Ask yourself if you want to be a stronger guy or a farcical looking muscle man who is gassed after 30 seconds of strenuous non-lifting activity because he's too disproportionately muscular for his cardiovascular system to support him and the 'gear' he's been sticking in his * has trashed whatever cardiovascular system anyway.

i imagine it can be. Though I have noticed a difference in my aching when i don't have a shake. I put on a bit of weight taking them, think it was because I was mixing it with Milk. Water from now on. Though it don't taste too good.

Aches following workouts can be partially down to dietary stuff, but what many in the lifting world neglect to realize is the importance of water to muscle recovery.

Dehydrated muscles trying to fire and work are almost analogous to an unlubricated engine being revved up. At any rate, you may do yourself some favors to make sure u drink enough to be * light post workout.

watched that steroids documentary just now and I personally don't think I'd go near them. The risks in the longer-term just seem not worth it. That and my age now, is probably when you shouldn't take them for definite.

The dangers are when guys are stacking various compounds as a cycle and running one cycle after another over a prolonged period of time.. Steroid abuse being a problem rather than steroid use..
Sticking with testosterone injections doesn't mean long-term problems will occur.. As I mentioned before , men with low testosterone levels are often prescribed these injections for health and wellbeing reasons.. It just happens the stuff Im taking is from an underground lab rather than the highest quality human grade stuff that a doctor would prescribe , and Im taking around 3 times the dose that might be prescribed which could be a danger in itself perhaps but maybe not.. Unfortunately they don't come with guarantees.

it's a personal choice. I mean i've yet to become fully-grown or fullly-developed. I may or may not be content with my condition in a few years to come but I won't touch steroids. I don't move in any circles where I could get them and wouldn't buy online

    They're not for me either.

Also can't take them due to my career choice, get drug tested.

Steroids aren't likely to show up in the recreational drug testing that workplaces enforce.. Maybe if it's military or sports related work your going for then youd be tested..
