Celtic rule should be if they score one we score 2 as you say defenders
needed the second goalie ain't covered his self in save hands if he wants to leave then thats the way it is but if its for money he want he has to knock Arthur of his perch not using the press to do it its the press thats on Arthur's case all the time when have you ever heared them praise him.

 

to be honest id b happier if they (the opposition) didnt score at all. but its great how u went to the trouble of thinkn of a rule

but the deal wif the press, bro its a bit irrelevant and off topic. i dont get the impression that mowbray picks his team from what he reads in the sun.

 

Artur is the best keeper we have had in a long time and I think he has to stay. Simple as and if he * up, which every keeper does at times, then put Zaluska in for a few games to show Artur he is not guaranteed of his place every week like he was whenBrown was around and it should help focus him.

 

would be a sad day when boruc leaves , but if we get good money then its right for the progression of the team and club. zaluska is a very good goalkeeper.

 

Let's just keep both keepers and go for the SPL title, we need both, however I would like to see Zaluska getting a few games too.

 

There is absolutely no question that boruc is the better keeper when fit, if he can get himself back into shape then no way would i sell him, but his weight is a bit on the tubby side just now, so if i didnt see a difference soon then id punt him. But a fit boruc is twice the keeper zaluska is.

 

Very much this. Also after losing Bonner it wasn't until 10+years that we got Boruc that I actually felt confident with our keeper again. How much agony did all the numpties inbetween cause? This might be a case of you don't know how good you have it until it's gone.

Sure there have been blunders, but he's still better than Zaluska.

 

Boruc is a great keeper (when on form) and a great personality to have around Parkhead.

However, he has been off form for a while now and with Zaluska and Cervi sitting in reserve we already have a cracking new number 1 and his deputy ready for him to go.

If we were to get offered anything for Boruc I'm afraid I would take it.

 

Yep totally agree, boruc is definetly our best keeper in 10 years or so, i would hate to loose him, plus i love everything about the guy, but he does have to shape up a bit lol

 

although i think artur boruc is a great goalkeeper, i don't think with finances being the way they are, we could knock back £7-8 million we could expect to get for him. We could use that money to strengthen the weak areas of the team - in defence and up front. I would have every confidence in Zaluska taking over, as i've been impressed with him so far!!!

 

We will never get what he's worth to us - same as Aiden.

EPL teams still want to come up here & offer peanuts for our best players & unsettle them with massive wage offers.

Until that changes I don't think we should sell any of our best players, it's a management issue with Artur's weight & fitness - if it bothers Mowbray he should sort it out.

 

First of all, he is a quality goalkeeper and a fan favourite.

Could we become a better team by selling Artur and upgrading other areas of the team with the money he would bring in? I think the answer is yes.

Boruc is better than Zaluska but there is not a monumental difference between them. Ask yourself if you would be comfortable moving forward with Zaluska as our number one without comparing him to Boruc. The answer to this is yes in my opinion.

Aside from Artur having an amazing World Cup I cannot see his value increasing and some of his questionable behavior could lead to it dropping. I know people will compare hin to Gordon and say 9M+ but we would not get this for him even though he is every bit the keeper Gordon is. I think if we got 5M+ and moved forward we would be able to achieve the standards we expect and be stronger in the long run.

 

never mind the talk of selling Arthur to strengthen defense's as i cant put my trust in the scouts we have, we have 5 new players who haven't strengthened the team, and on the latter part of strachens error his players brought in never strengthened us either, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys and its the same old crap we cant afford no one, and here we are selling, off the family silver to strengthen something. we where supposed to be doing 5 years ago. dose any of the scouts, or are any of them happy with what they have delivered to us to make up a team. keep hearing we have better player than rangers where are they, results like 3-3 with motherwell 1-0 Hamilton, knocked out of cups with st mirren get real looks right rangers had us down for no threat at all, last year and did not need to strengthen we have 8-9 players since both managers where shopping and we are no further forward now to me it looks like motherwell and Hamilton have improved there team not us

 

Another one of these threads lol, he is an amazing keeper when on form and we would be getting rid of one of our best players if we sold him, we should no matter what keep

selling boruc isnt even an option.

 

Been down this Road many times, theres two ways we can look at this.
A/the coatching staff get this guy back in shape,off the swally and get him focused once again or
B/We cash in on him now, as his value could drop even further

if Celtic go down the route of A then he could be back to his best and could put him on the most wanted list and his value will rocket

Only Boruc will have the final say to either one of the Answers

 

who cares if his value drops? dont sell him its that simple! anyway why the * do we want to even consider to sell one of the best players at the club ?

 

you sell boruc and you have to look for a new keeper IMO.
because zaluska is a good keeper but at the same time who is our next choice?
the last thing i would want is going into 4-5 games with bourc sold and zaluska inj.
i am looking at this very hypothetically but for so many years i have seen celtic play great football to be defeated by average goal-keeping.
i dont care about getting another 5mill to spen i think boruc is vital.
yes his form has slipped, yes he is tempromental.
but i still think he is a very good keeper and would rather he was at the club than the 5mill being quoted.
the only time i would think of selling boruc is to have another good keeper in to either play ahead of zaluska or be 2nd choice.
And let me tell you everyone that agrees that boruc should be sold will be the first ones here moaning(why is the keeper not doing this, why did he do that, this keeper is pish blah blah blah)

He was one of our best i think the celtic notion has gone from him
if he can get it back then fine keep him if not then cash in
