Me too, Fortune has earned it & Robson slows down our fast paced attacks.

i am no fortune teller but if the Huns failed with there appeal for miller its only because there is no one in the office, and the new signing for Celtic or registration they will have the perfect excuse for not going through with it then, as they would have to let miller play

True but a midfield 4 of McGeady, Crosas, N'Guemo and McGinn would be far too lighweight for a game against the huns. We'd get battered in midfield if we went with that. Robson gives us some strength in there and usually does no bad against the huns.

Still can't decide if I'd like McGinn to start or come on for some serious impact on the 65 minute mark. Start with Skippy and Sammy up front as Skippy's due a goal and comes through when we need it in big games, and Sammy's got that open goal miss to make up for from last game. Defence... does it make a difference who plays? For my money Loovens should sit it out, he's been the most careless as of late. Standard inclusions of Boruc, Fox, Hinkel, and McGeady. My jury's still out on Ki, Robson, Crosas and McCourt, probably I'd start with Robson.

And let's hope to * someone's stepped up to the plate and been practicing penalties! With the filth's tendancy towards rough tackles we'll hopefully get a shout or two sent our way this time.

Ref Steve Conroy making his Old Firm debut. Let's hope he does a better job than Craig Thompson did last time out at Ibrox.

It did'nt get as far as the office , the referee decided after further reviewing the incident that there was no case to answer, so the decision stood.

If our back four can get their act together we will win, I also think the cardigan is trying to play mind games with Mowbury with the players being reported as unavailable due to illness or injury.
I would expect ratface to start on Sunday, but as I say if our back four raise their game we will win at a canter.

    Just Can't Get Enough.
I'd start with Fortune leading the attack like he did so well in the last game in Europe which will allow the midfield to play an expansive game with an extra man in the middle, and the two Irishmen causing trouble out wide and pulling defenders out of position and even though I hate having to counter-act Rangers physical tactics by playing Robson, I think it has to be done, because otherwise Crosas will not be able to play his game, which is key to our new style of play, and it's our new style of play that will win us the game. However we need to play our game and not be drawn into kicking lumps out of Rangers (tempting though it may be and believe me I'd boot those Huns for 90mins if I could.) If we manage to play our style of football they will not have the ability to match us and I think we will come away 3-1 winners. If the game is still tied after half time I'd replace Robson with Ki, McGinn with Samaras and Fortune with McDonald. Both McDonald and Samaras have shown they can get goals off the bench and Ki will pose a different threat because he is an unknown problem for Rangers and they will be concerned because of all they hype he has been given.

    I'd go with :

    --------------------------------Boruc

    Hinkel---------------Caldwell------------Loovens-------------------Fox

    ---------------------Crosas----N'Guemo---Robson

    McGinn------------------------------------------------McGeady

    -------------------------------Fortune
    Subs

    Samaras
    McDonald
    McCourt
    Thompson
    Zaluska
    Ki
    Caddis

An OF game is no place for experimenting with lineups or formations. With Brown, NGuemo and ZZ out we really are short of tough MFs going into this game, I have a funny feeling Mogga will go with:

    ...............Boruc

    Hinkel.......Loovens....Mick...Fox

    McGeady........Caldwell.....Crosas.......Robson.

    ...................Skippy......Sammy

    Fortune on before Skippy.

Gunt, * help us if Mowbray opts for your lineup.

Why would anyone opt for Sammy and Skippy together? They are a hopeless partnership - mainly due to Skippy's complete collapse in accuracy, power and enthusiasm. How many gilt-edged chances has Skippy fluffed this season? Dozens, that's what.

At least Sammy can run at the Animals and can head the ball too.

No, give big Fortune the shout over Skippy anyday. Marco will at least bully Weir out of the way. Skippy scare noone.

Skippy has been atrocious of late. Fortune can shoot from distance - with power. I can fart harder than Skippy shoots atthe moment.

    I would go with;

    Boruc
    Hinkel - Caldwell - Loovens - Fox
    McGinn - Crosas - Robson - McGeady
    Samaras - Fortuné

    Cheers

I think we will win 2-1 or 2-0 as long as we come out the tunnel and get stuck in right from the start.

We need to put as much pressure on wilson and test the pace of weir at every opportunity.

With the crowd behind us, providing we get the first goal. i think this could be the turning point in our season.

    A loss is unthinkable!!

I will eat my hat if TM doesn't start with:

    Boruc
    Hinkel Caldwell Loovens Fox
    McGeady Crosas N'Guemo Robson
    Samaras McDonald

Injuries aside of course :icon_mrgreen: I just hope McGeady is as on form as he has been because he will tear up whatever full-back they stick on him. This is also a huge opportunity for Samaras to give a good game, as although he has had an amazing season so far, against the better teams we play he does have a tendancy to be easily quelled (apart from Moscow obviously.. in fact saying that he had good games in the Europa as well)

Last Old Firm was a good performance ruined by 2 pathetic mistakes from one of our centre-backs. That game at Ibrox set the standard for the rest of the season up until now. I wonder if this will be the catalyst for our centre-backs to cut out the ridiculous gaffs - for now and for the rest of the season.
