Get this clown out. I wouldn't even take him in my 5 and 7 a side teams and I'm not kidding. He's too slow, he lacks a decent football brain and can't even lift/motivate the team when we're playing this badly even with his motor mouth of a gub.

McGeady is a good dribbler and not very good at anything else. He is unlikely to ever be a seriously top level player. He has too many weakness in his game, the worst of which is a poor football brain.

OD is not even convincing on his loan. Has been to blame for a number of goals and benched. Two Cetlic managers in a row rate OD 4th choice CB behind some poor ones. That says all you need to know about OD. He just lacks the dominance and positional sense of a CB that even ordinary SPL CBs like the ones at Dundee United have in spades.

I know you keep saying this & in some ways I agree with you, especially his ranking as 4th placed CB under 2 managers.

But I can't agree with the dominance aspect you continue to mention, if you mean his physical presence then I have to disagree - he is really quite the muscular/athletic type of CB, very broad & looks pretty tall.

He's also not at all scared of getting stuck in, he was at LB against Killie last season & Taouil was giving Mick all sorts of issues - O'Dea came through him like a * train (winning the ball) & we didn't see much of Taouil again - in fact I think Jeffries pulled him for Connor Sammon for some extra weight.

O'Dea really impressed me that night & made me feel he could do a job at CB - but I agree he's not the finished article, hence why he went out on loan.

The fact he was given a new 3 year contract, makes me think Mowbray sees something in him too - I won't be surprised if he comes back into the team in Jan. His long ball distribution is also very good, better than Caldwell's.
