Do you mean how long can we go on being top of the league for? :87:

And is this you sticking the boot into Fortune'e already when he's just played his first few minutes of footballl in months? :87:

    * almighty. Some Celtic fans are really starting to give me itchy fever at the moment. I stood in the pub last night watching the game and there was 3 guys up from Glasgow there. All 1 of them did the WHOLE game was sit and shout at the top of his voice 'pass it to him' 'pass it to him' 'pass it left' 'pass it right' and every time it didn't go where he wanted it 'awww you're fuckiin * man' 'you're crap'. It's like......what the * kind of support is that??? I cannot abide 'fans' who just sit there and criticise every thing the players do. I'd honestly rather 'fans' like that * off and supported another team.

    FACTS ARE THESE:

We just played one of the top teams in the Bundesliga away from home and gave them a * good game. If Scott McDonald had his shooting boots on we'd have beat them on their own patch. Apart from in Moscow, that was our best European performance of the season and there were signs of progress.

Quit with the negativity already and lay off of Fortune'e. At least give the man a chance to get fit and have a run in the team before getting on his case.

i believe he has bags of ability, he can be quality for us but he needs to knuckle down work hard and quit moaning at the rest of the team, we've all see what he can do and we know its in there but its just not showing at the minute. On form hes the best striker at the club in my opinion, but maybe thats just not ssaying much.

According to what Robson said in the paper, McDonald isn't short of confidence so it's unlikely that's the problem. Nerves in big games may be affecting his composure which means that he's scoring less of these chances in big matches.

I've given up on Skippy to be honest. I've been saying for months that he's been poor and not good enough and he doesn't seem to be doing anything about it or getting any better so I would drop him and off load him in January. WGS will take him down at Middlesborough. Skippy's been dropped from the Australia squad for not scroing in his last however many games. How long are we going to persist with him? If we sold him on we'd get at least £2m for him which could go towards a decent striker.

drop him for a while. tell him to get a grip, sort himself out and prove he's worth a place and the 7 shirt.

Who knows what the problem is. Confidence? maybe... weight gain? maybe... or is there more too it? Perhaps he knows that Mowbray isn't keen on him so he has just given up?

I'd hope it's just confidence not just all on him but through out the ranks because tbh with you Celtic ain't had it easy as late when it comes to luck and that can have a deep phycological effect on even the strongest of personalities.

I think this is the most likely scenario, and furthermore i don't think it's something that will go away any time soon! The fans are on the players back all the time imo which doesn't help at all then there's BTM he can't man manage! I think lenny needs to set about the team and instil some belief that this team are not the duds most believe them to be.

As fans however we must get behind each player and caress there confidence glands (aye) this is a time when togetherness would be more beneficial than one of divides.

We have some donkeys granted but what we can do is spur those donkeys on and make them believe that they can do what everyone else thinks they can't!

Everyone saying skippy is pish this and pish that is sooo far off the mark imo and there's something deeper going on so like i say get behind him/them and lets get that feel good factor back and that belief that we can do anything.

macdonalds first touch was terrible last night. He only tackled back on our 18 yard line coz when he tried to recieve a pass around the halfway line his poor control knocked the ball back halfway to our goal with players pushing forward. He had to track back to redeem the situations he caused.

    Are you serious? :97:

He was absolutely rubbish last night and has been most of the year. The only reason he was back on the 18 yard line "making tackles" was because he tried to control the ball on the half way line and his first touch knocked the ball all the way back to our defenders because his first touch is terrible. He put us under pressure for no reason when all he has to do was hold the ball up, he couldn't pass either.

His first touch is that bad his second touch is a tackle!!

I reckon we will sell McDonald during the January window as he is a pale
shadow of his former self. He has the first touch of a rapist and he looks way off the pace. It is time to sell your assets when they are showing distinct signs of depreciation.

Maybe Fortune'e coming back into the team will help Skippy.

Or maybe I'm just clutching at straws.

I was rather hoping it would benefit samaras more tbh with you. Skippy needs a prolonged rest imo and he needs to clear his nut and get some perspective.

I think Skippy's main problem is his over-confidence in himself, similar to Caldwell - he thinks he's the baws maws, but is in actual fact a bog standard 600k SPL striker.

These type of players really begin to beleive their own hype when they come to a club like Celtic, I actually blame Strachan for a lot of it. He used to * them the * right up - all the time, even after totally woefull games.

Mowbray is right to slag him & the others.

At least Sammy is trying these days, I can appreciate Sammy trying his heart out - I know he's not the best, but Skippy does not really bring anything at all to the table.

I'd take anything over 1million for him & get Caldwell out too, they area debilitating influence on the other players I think.

I'd drop Skippy & bring in McGowan, he's not the answer - but i FEEL HE'D TRY HIS HEART OUT & AT LEAST SCORE THE SAME AMOUNT AS sKIPPY DOES NOWADAYS.
