Really a question to all the Mowbary haters!
With the squad he has what would you guys do differently if you are going to criticize him?
I am still unsure on Mogga but trust him to bring in a few good players in January and in the Summer after which I will really judge him!

I wouldn't like to think there is Mowbray haters mate, perhaps doubters which is understandable because it is still early days in. I am seeing our team gradually gel together and we are sitting four points clear at the top of the league. Not bad eh ?

If Mhogga brings in another quality centre back and we purchase a competent hitman upfront I will be more than happy with the team.
The league remains the priority, but we are not out of Europe yet, not by a long chalk.

Yeah. Pretty much agree with all that , think Mowbary will make some good signings so should be alot better , players that really want to play for him aswell as I feel some of our guys standards have slipped under Mowbary (Brown,Caldwell,McDonald) but then again others have significantly raised there games! (McCourt,McGinn) will be interesting but I think he is the right man for the job for now!

    Cool :50:
We have to get behind Mhogga now and give him every encouragement.
Remember there is more to supporting Celtic and we are not a One Man Band.
Mowbray is just the front man for the club, we all have a role to play in our club's fortunes.
Lets hope we can kick on from here and defeat Falkirk on Sunday :RedFinger

start by not playing Robson on the wing, that is all.

I think in the last couple of games he has reverted back to a WGS style more solid deeper 4-4-2 that suits the players and its paid dividends. I think that is just realistic. Everything looks more compact and solid all of a sudden. Fair play to him if he has realised his idealistic ideas need to go on hold until we buy one or two quality CBs and CFs.

The signs are better in the last 2-3 games ,not being funny here but thats 2 games in a row that Celtic havent conceded a goal ,is that a first for this season ?.

I think if they carry on playing the way they are they will go on a run ,which will boost confidence in that team which is sorely needed.

Can I say first that I like the constructive slant Binnie.

I think it's the strike force(or lack of I'd attend to first).
I'd halve their rations and double their training sessions. The clean the toilets wi toothbrushes etc. Seriously though, there needs to be improvement to make us look like a threat round the box. Shooting practice?

The search for a hitman too. A real one.

first of all try and get the most out of the players Mowbray has now. By telling them they are no good and that he will bring in 11 new players is not going to do their confidence any good.

Tony will do it. We have no strikers of any note, we are creating loads of chances but have to concede that the guys we have in attack are impotent and canny cut it.

Last night we had three gilt edge chances that skippy missed two of and sammy the other.

we also had a shot deflected past the post by Misfortune.

We need a striker a centre half, preferably two.

the main doubt I question is substitutions. I thot the tactics wer spot on lastnite (4-4-2) but to bring on naylor and push fox up i didnt get. McGinn or McCOurt would have been better options. And this hasnt been the 1st time. But thats my only doubt

The main thing we need atm is a bit of luck in front of goals because both sami and skippy have shown they can score mayb its a little confidence thing . We arent playing badly and with a few more players we will get better . People need to remember that tm was a little later getting in so was maybe disadvantagedwith trying to get in players he wanted in time but whatever happens he is our manager and deserves all our backing and time and I am sure he will come good .

i would go for a tall striker with some pace in one of the poorer countries, and a dominating cb in the mould of balde and bring bak odea to partner him, i would sell mcgeady and brown ,reduce the squad size to 25 to allow us to spend on more quality next year, i would also play a diffrent system against rangers especialy at ipox, would sit deeper and counter them would use those tactics in europe away and would perfect that system . at home and all other spl games would attack .

Can't wait for January , don't think anything will be drastically changed but i think if we do bring in first and foremost a good striker we will be sorted O'Dea is coming back but a new CB would be nice aswell!!

    Something like this:

    ----------Zaluska/Boruc----------

    Hinkel----O'dea----New CB----Fox

    -------------N'Guemo------------

    McCourt------Crosas-------McGeady

    ---------Samaras---New ST--------

We need a Striker to hold the ball up and get his head onto balls into the box (i.e a New Chris Sutton) and a nippy stirker feeding off of him with the wide men contributing aswell and the striking problems should be sorted. and a solid centre back would help with our dodgy defence.

agree with most though thought crosas was poor last nite, maybe needs games but he didnt contribute anything and was caught the wrong side of his man and lost possesion a lot ,willing to give him more time as his passing usually good.
would sell aiden and play maloney or mccourt as both are better in the left wing .
